Well here is my site. It's all about my family and my son and contains no portfolio. I actually got the domain specifically for this reason. The videos do not work at the moment because PEHosting deletes them every so often and I need to re-upload them. And it's been too long since I've added pics. But I figured I'd get some opinions.

This fall I'll be developing an online portfolio/resume site, but I'm very particular and won't reveal it until I'm happy and that may be a while.
 
Gah! Can't edit. You'll be able to see it is geared toward out of town family members. But anyway...
 
Looks very nice. I like the simple layout and color scheme. It's good to see non image-intensive sites. The way the thumbnails are set up is awesome, too.

It looks pretty good so far. It's simple, yet very easy to navigate. There are too many sites out there that have incredibly complicated menu systems.
 
It's about half and half. I started with Dreamweaver, but when I got stuck with it I just typed it. When I update it I just view source and type. I used to hand code but I find that to get the basic layout down I like Dreamweaver because it speeds things up a lot. But I'm still not that good at it so I revert to typing.
 
Where are the pics of you and your son? And not of the videos work but you already explained that.
 
I don't think there are any that include me. I have a thing about photos of myself, namely, I don't like seeing them. It also seems slightly egotistical to post photos of myself. I'll have some more videos (and photos) up pretty soon. The newest material is much better because he's older and cuter and more fun to watch.

PEHosting has a rule against "streaming media". I wasn't aware of it when I signed up. So every month or two some automated program goes through their server and deletes any "streaming" file extensions. Then I put them back.

One problem I have now is that the computer the videos are saved on is pretty screwed up and I don't even know if I can get them. I've been using my new laptop exclusively so I haven't had any motivation to dink around with the old tower.
 
Hm. I saw one of you holding your son. He's really cute! He'll be 3 years old before you know it. :)
 
I'm not much for family sites, but it's still quite nice. :)
 
I left a guestbook entry on at a few weeks ago. It's a smart-looking site milefile.

I hear that. It's mostly because my family lives in Chicago and I live in Phoenix. It was a nice excercise and good practice but a much better site is in development, and it'll my online portfolio.
