i am now at level 28 i have no interest in getting the redbull x1 what ever it is called, and no interest in doing the edurance races,but i have a good list of friends that enjoy good clean racing.i find this so much more rewarding in the game. an can spend many hours of enjoyment through this, with people who want to race.
 
i'd like to get into online racing - can i add you to psn so we can play sometime?
 
I have only raced online twice, but I am all about clean racing and look forward to some good online racing to have fun. Anybody feel free to add me if want an easy going person with some skill (not all that much hehe) to race with.

You can also add me if you want. I'm in California so I don't know how well the connection will be, but I'm a pretty mellow racer online. I usually stick to driving road cars and RM's.

I'm in the same boat pretty much. Although I DO want the X1, I don't feel like grinding to get my last two levels, so I play online and do the seasonal events. I usually do random online lobbies, and really enjoy it. Too bad the money/exp from it is terrible, otherwise I probably would never do any A-spec.
 
I find online to be annoying in a public lounge, so I stick with friends only.
 
I have to a agree, online is a lot of fun. It's just a completely different experience when you're racing against real people.

Novice question: how do you know which lobbies to join? Some are really smooth while in others, the connection seems bad and the cars are really jerky and jump all over the track, making it impossible to race smoothly
 
I agree with the OP. Also, I find the best room and the best races are the ones where you just used one of the "arcade" cars. That way you don't get these BS rooms where some fool sets limits that only his special little garage favorite can come close to.
 
Online is definitely where I spend most of the time now in GT. I like one make races or races where we're all using stock cars from the arcade list. Kart racing is a blast, same with NASCAR.
