My month old, New Car!!!

Sorry guys, I should have revealed this to the community a bit earlier, but with the way life has been going lately I haven't had time.

Alright so her are some pictures of my new beauty. It is a 2004 Mazda 6. 220hp V-6 5 speed manual transmission. This thing has more toys then I have evr had in any car. Power moonroof, black leather interior, carbon fiber trim, 6 disc Bose audio sound system including a 8" sub, and two front tweeters. Full automatic air with digital settings. She is as smooth as a spring day cloud. Pretty quick too.

I have already taken her auto-crossing, but not being that familar with a sedan and front wheel drive I was only to bring in 3rd place out of 10 in my class. Its the first time I have been beaten in auto-cross. The car was only a week old then.

Ok, enough of the talk up, here she is:
 
Thats a nice color. Did you get the sports package?

And, do you still have the Xtreme?

That would be sweet! ... if it had the full MazdaSpeed package. Otherwise he'd just be a dumbass rice boy. And we don't want that.
 
Any plans to tune it? Or are you happy with it as it is? Either way it is a mighty fine car, pity most teh Mazda6s in my area have altezzas/clearlights in the rear :yuck:.
 
Hey man, be careful with talking about your alleged "autocrossing" some vehicle manufacturers have "spies" that check out forums / chats like this just to void warranties....is is amazing how thorough they can be....there have been many Evo warranty claims that have been denied due to "racing activities " yet the owners have nover mentioned it to the dealership...only on chat rooms / posting sites

Thats because in the UK the Mazda 6 comes with Altezza's standard...I think.

Yup, ít's standard, and not a option I think. I've never seen them with the 'normal' red lights here in Europe.

C'mon man the Blazer and S10... err, well, now, Colorado Xtreme is the hottest compact truck out there.

Who said I didn't like the Xtreme? I loved my Xtreme!! I miss it! I just got rid of it because it was getting to high in miles. Knowing I was about to go to college and have no money I didn't need the truck having problems that were going to cost me money. So I got a new car with a really good warranty that way I didn't have to worry about maintance costs.

I simply said I didn't like talking about getting rid of the Xtreme. It was a hard decsion for me to make. Hope that clears things up.

I think LoudMusic knows me well enough that I would do anything like that, and have no plans on doing anything like that. I wanted to wait for the Mazda Speed version, but it not being released till next year, I couldn't.

As far as mods, I haven't really decided. I guess it really depends on funds. College comes first, and when something that expensive comes first you really don't have much money left to do anything else.

The Mazda does have a clear taillight option, but I have never really liked clear taillights. If anything I like smoked, or tinted taillights. So I didn't get that option.
 
Awesome car man, they're quite quick too. 220hp Duratec V6 right? Too bad you didn't wait for the mazdaspeed version, 4wheel drive and turbo'd but it'f obviously be more expensive. Still, beautiful car ya got there.

It is the V6, and it moves. I couldn't wait for the MazdaSpeed though. I am thinking about looking into what it would take to morf it into one, but if not I can't complain anyways. It is a sweet car.
 
Nice to see you enjoying the car. Just one question though, is that the Mazda 6 sedan, or the Mazda 6 sport?
 
Do you mean the 5 door? It is not the 5 door, just a regular sedan. Don't like the 56 door. It has the sport package though.
 
So its just the Sedan and not the sport? Still a very beautiful car. I like the way the sport looks though because it has a fastback look to it.👍
 
I didn't like it to much. It looked funky to me. Like they tried to keep the sedan look, but had to make ajustments that kinda make it look close to a fastback type look. With me its either or, not in between.
