Has anyone else seen this yet? I watched the Premier lastnight, I laughed the whole way through! Jason Lee does an amazing job with the character, you'd think he was really like that. Great supporting cast, funny story line...hope this show catches on!.

Funny thing....in the show, he thinks Carson Daley came up with Karma!

http://imdb.com/title/tt0460091/

They should have named the show, "Everybody loves Jason Lee". Seriously, who doesn't love Jason Lee? :p

I forgot all about the show last night, then like 12 minutes after 9, I remembered and caught almost 20 minutes of the show. I thought it was pretty good. I loved the part where Earl's drunk buddy "hooks" up with the guy in the gay club and starts dancing.

It was great. It wasn't rolling on the floor lauging out loud funny. Thos shows tend to be one liners that make you laugh hard. This was just straight funny from beginning to end. So instead of bursts of laughter it was a full show of thinking, "God, this is funny."

Everytime a woman walks by me and my coworker one of us says, "Dibs."

Yeah, I am going to start up the 'dibs; thing too.....that killed me, he sitting there with the guys parents, and the mom bends over infront of them....THAT part did make me laugh out loud!

Damn it! I missed it, even though I wanted to see it. It looked great, and I guess it was! Damn, I hope they show it again.

With a succesful show reruns are a given.

How many shows are actually so funny you're literally rolling on the floor laughing? Personally, I've never found myself on the floor laughing at a TV show, so I have come to not expect this from sitcoms. And I'm never disappointed. If you expect to laugh so hard from a television program that you fall out of your chair and roll all over the floor uncontrollably, you're probably going to find yourself short-changed quite often...

Not even Friends? That got pretty funny at times.

Very few shows nowadays actually makes me laugh out loud, Family Guy being the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

I've been looking forward to watching this, but missed it. Damn!

This was a very funny show, and the acting was pretty good. So I think it's safe to say that the series will just compose of him trying to compensate for his crime filled past, and rid himself of his bad Karma as Carson daily would have said. I'm adding this show to my shows to watch list:

House
Csi
Mythbusters
Family guy

My bad. Who I thought was Earl's buddy was actually his brother. I missed the beginning of the show, and I didn't know. My buddy filled me in on that today.

I was never a fan of Friends. I was more of a Seinfeld guy (well, that's an understatement; it's my all-time favourite show). I never used to like Family Guy until recently. I just always thought it was stupid. Then all of a sudden the humour of the show clicked with me and now I love it. But still I don't think it's funny enough to make me fall on the floor...

I'm sorry. Allow me to go into full literal mode.

It did not make me laugh out loud the way Seinfeld or Jason Lee's previous work in Kevin Smith movies tend to, however it did leave me feeling humorously entertained throughout the entire show.

I hope that's better. I didn't realize this was the "too literal to get my point" board.

Yeah, Seinfeld and Family Guy are WAY up there. It's still early for Earl. I hope it's gonna be a good series. :)

It seems like it is all about the writing here and it could easily go sour. Hopefully the writers are better than that. Maybe with any luck since it is Jason Lee and he works with Kevin Smith a lot they will let him guest write/direct an episode or something. It would definitely get some publicity for the show.

I started watching the recording I made of this show. To bad I missed the first one.

I notice some odd things, and funny things, as I start watching it. He only won 100,000 dollars? That wouldn't cover the hospital bills he caused when getting hit by that car during the intro. But, I like his list of bad things he did. Here's 56 through 69 seen at the intro of the show.

56. Stole lighter from liquor store.
57. Told Joy Dan Dodd messed himself on the...
58.Fixed a high school football game
59 Everything I did to dad.
60. Pulled fire alarm
61. Stole mom's car (but I gave it back)
62. Faked death to break up with a girl.
63. Wasted electricity
64. Spray painted the bridge.
65. Cost dad the election.
66. Let mice out at school play.
67. Stole beer from a golfer.
68. Blew up mailboxes.
69. Cheated on high school tests.

Ha... I dont think anyone actually falls on the floor and starts laughing and rolling or whatever... but if you do you certainly need help asap.

I love this show. Its too funny. When was the 2nd episode shown?

The 1st was great.

Funny how I caught it this time, yet some of you guys missed it.

Funny thing, too, Jason Lee was on a repeat of Conan O' Brien and he was pretty damn funny. I think this show is going to be a big hit, and I'm sure NBC is going to milk it for every penny it's worth. Starting with repeating the first few episodes on one of their "Special Nights." I can't wait!

The first repeats usually occur around the holidays and then nearly the entire season repeats in the late spring/summer.

In the second episode, the guy they use as " crazy eyes " was almost the same character in "PrisonBreak" what a weirdo !

Earl: "Sometimes, Donny can be crazy. OK, Donny can be real crazy!"

Donny: (Runs up from behind cop and takes his gun) "I gotch'a gun, cop! I got yu'r gun, boy! (Singing) I gotch'a gu-un, I gotch'a gu-un!"

EDIT: Attention! The pilot episode, and the second episode, will re-air on this Saturday night, Oct. 1st! It starts at 8:00PM here in PCT. So, I get to finally see the first episode, and those that missed the second one can see that one.

this and the office were the only two tv shows i have been looking forward too and i havent even been able to watch them because of my goddamn company has been flooded lately.

Yeah I noticed that haha. This is one of the few shows I watch now that only runs about half a hour. I gotta say Jaime pressly is the hottest hick I've ever seen.
