Hey everyone.

Just wanted to tell you all that I bought a new watch and it has a built-in camera, making it a camera watch.

It's a Casio WQV-1 watch, and the first of its kind...

Obviously, it can have a few practical uses too. I could use it to memorize notes and stuff like that. Its also always nice knowing that you've got a camera on hand. My old watch, which was a Casio W-59, didn't have these functions. So it's very new for me.

By the way, it was bought for around $28.00 in American dollars.

I've seen the ones that can view photos but never one that could take one  I doubt they even bothered selling them in the UK, just about everyone over the age of 10 has a mobile phone and I bet about 80% have camera phones already.

When I brought my Casio watch, about errr...5 years ago, I'm pretty sure these puppies just came out, for the low low price of $600 AUD!

Yeah, they were on sale in the UK for about £300 new i think...

Is your one Black and white or colour? What's the resolution like? I always wondered what pics taken on one would look like.

I got one from my son for Christmas, '02 I think it was, it took color pics at half-VGA, I think (320x240). That might be a bit generous, can't remember. It had a USB IR dongle to move pics onto the PC. It cost WAY more than it was worth, and I had him return it, he really couldn't afford it.
