Hello and welcome to my story/photo of my new car in GT4

Wednesday
Hello and welcome to a very special moment in my life. The purchase of my new car and a special one at that. So lets get to the car, its a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR Tommi Makinen Edition in Canal Blue Metallic with almost 29500 miles on it. Now to the photos I took when I got it home.

Thursday
When I woke this morning I got out of bed and walked over to the window to have a look out at my lovely new Evo VI for a few minutes, then went downstairs for some cereal and then to get ready to take my car for a proper drive and take some photos. 40 minutes later and i'm ready to go. On my way out of the front door I grab the keys to the motor and also the camera and camera equipment, shutting the front door and looking at my car I can't help but smile. Looking at it shining in the sun I can't help but think what a beautiful car. So I Put all the stuff in the boot and jump in the drivers seat and put the key in the ignition and turn it, the car roars into life and I can't help but give it a few revs to hear the noise it makes. I pull away nicely and out onto the road I go and after driving for about a hour I find this nice place to take some photos of the car, so I stopped, parked the car and got out to take some photos and the results were extremely nice with the car shining in all it glory, I was well chuffed.

After taking the photos I thought I would head home to arrange a meeting for Friday at a tuning company called Mine's and see what they could do to my car and also arrange a photo session at Laguna Seca Raceway for Saturday.

Friday
Today I have a appointment at Mine's to tune my car at 2pm. but nothing to do until then so I thought I would clean the car to past time, and in roughly 2 hours I had cleaned most of the car. I had wasted quite a bit of time and thought I will get my stuff to go down to the Mine's place. When I got there I could'nt believe my eyes when I saw a load of nice Evo's and Skyline's, I was in heaven. As I walked in the doors a guy walked up to me and asked "can I help you sir?" I replied "why yes you can" so after some minutes of talking we agreed to have my car looked over and tuned. so they looked over my car and it was fine and then they showed me there catalogue. After a bit of time looking through the catalogue I had all I wanted done to my car in my head and asked them if they could do it before the night was out and they said "of course." I was very pleased and when they finished around 9:30pm the car had new suspension, ECU chip, turbo, intercooler, exhaust system and few others things, aswell as being completely stripped down. They also said that they will do a roll cage for me but I had to get home so they said "ring us when you want it fitted" So I said "ok and thank you very much for your work" and left. I got home at about 11pm and was very tired so I went to sleep because I had a photo session at Laguna Seca Raceway Saturday early in the morning.

Saturday
Woke up to a lovely morning fresh and early to get down to Laguna Seca Raceway for 10:30am. On the way down I thought I would give my car a little top speed run well as much as I could on the motorway and reached a speed of 160mph and had to start slowing down due to traffic. Arrived at Laguna at 12 midday a little bit late but then thats what traffic does to you. I was eager to get out on the track to properly test out the performance of my Evo and tweak the car to my style of driving. I have only driven Laguna Seca Raceway a few times before in my old stock '96 Nissan 200SX which was dynoed at 186BHP so not exactly a beast but you could still get the back end out, anyway before I went out on track I was able to go on a dyno they had at the track and my car was showing 483BHP/6500RPM and 414.24ft.lb/2750 of torque so I was expecting it to be a real monster out on track. Well when I got to go out on the track I was suprised at how well the car handled and how much traction it had. and with me being late I only had a few laps but I enjoyed all of them and got some really nice photos even though I only got a few because I did'nt get a chance to get the others from the photographers but I will be getting them soon. The ones I got though will do for now. I will upload the others when I get them. Now that I finished my photo session I thought I would head off home so I could find out about trackdays and shows that I could go to. So I put all my things in the car and say goodbye to Laguna seca Raceway. When I get onto the Motorway things start going downhill and I mean a very steep hill. I'm driving down the motorway thinking about the day I had and how cool it was to finally get my car on the track and take photos away with me and without crashing, I was very happy. So I was just flying down in the fastlane when all of a sudden some idiot thinks he's king of the road and pulls out of the middle lane into the fastlane at about 50-60mph whilst i'm doing about 100-110mph, so I hit the brakes but it was no use the car locked up and went straight into the back of the other car at about 100mph and of course that does'nt really do the car any good and the end result was the back of the other car missing and the front of mine near enough gone, well the whole front end was ruined, the engine was completely dead and I was thinking to myself I wish I got the rollcage fitted now, so now the car is basically a write off but I won't give up on it after all I have only had it for a few days and it is like one of my dream cars. But I won't be able to start fixing it until i'm fixed hopefully in a few weeks. I will now leave you with the photos of my car at Laguna Seca Raceway.

Part II coming when I have the time to do it. Enjoy the read.

I like the style of gallery, which you’re aiming for.

hope you come up with another one, keep up the work! 👍

one thing though, maybe making the pictures a little bit more brighter would make it better :)
