I've finished the cockpit today...

The seat can be moved to the front and back, tilted and tilted fully to the front (it is from the 2 doors car) to safe space when I'm not racing.

Agreed, nice clean job too. Some friends of mine have used the same material to make two setups so far. Some zip ties for your cables would be a good idea.

Oh yeah..... big HDTV also
 
it´s not necessary to have a huge ass HD TV... You just have to compensate sitting further from it... To big picture no sense of speed and no comfort :) A Widescreen would be nice though and a 32" not bigger. I have a 32" 1360x768... Feels good... I need to sit almost 2 metres away from it and then you don´t really need the 1920x1080p resolution... Another alternative is to get say a 24" widescreen at higher res and have it setup like you have now :).

yeah, 32" is prefect. if i had a big living room i might go up to 42 but my apartment is rather cozy and a 32 is a perfect fit. im quite comfortable with it. its just 720p though. :guilty:
