*I have now stripped it, and made a short throw shifter
pictures coming soon, its pretty good at stopping, but accelerating is another story.

Drift! and of course, keep it legal, I want to do quick virtually free tricks that will change the performance/feel slightly. depending on if it has an LSD(havent done a burnout yet...) i am gonna make it a redneck locker.
I mainly want it to drift, and learn on.

That's great, also being a car that isn't worth much, meaning you can abuse it all you want with no worries.

I say PM a mod to move this into the main cars in general area. You aren't getting any replies here.

isnt it in the main cars/general area O_o???
yeah, i can beat up on it like a little sister.
Someone moved it, it was in the Mazda section. You still aren't getting any comment though. Maybe you should put the pics in this thread, since I know I sometimes don't feel like following a link.

Is that one corner light the only trim piece that's missing? If so, totally awesome... looks almost too pretty to modify... :D

thanks for posting that pic up man!
no, the other side has the end peice of the bumper gone, and it is stripped now XD:D
ROFL! I cant afford a 13b...
I made a C.A.I. today, i havent had anyone drive it since though, so I dont know if it changes much at all. it was using a cheap metal hose anyways.
Is it illegal to drill your muffler?
and I have a hole BEFORE the muffler, but after the catalytic converter, could I patch it, or is it fine/legal if i leave the hole alone?

It's probably not fine to leave the hole, and in California, I'm sure it's not legal to drill the muffler. Loud is overrated anyway.

I'm really jealous of you CA guys and your ancient but well-preserved cars. That thing would be gone from the doorhandles down here on the East coast.

No offence Tulok but I feel sorry for the car, it lasted that long in that condition now to juet be striped and used as a drifting practice platform. Tons of Mazda enthusists and tuners here would pay good money for that car (we lots of good old cars like that but are short on 70's 626 mazda coupes).

I was going to restore it initially, then I discovered some yellow writing on the head of it,
MA b2000 84
this was a junkyard engine...
there is no point in restoring it now if it wont get me a larger return, so i started stripping right away.

You could do the best of both worlds and do a semi-restoration job but just drop in a good engine+suspension. Make the exterior as stock as possible, leave the interior, and just concentrate on the drivetrain. You'll probably get more money if you do this because when you get ready to sell it all a REAL restoration job would need is the original drivetrain.

My 2 cents.

*edit*
Paint that thing grabber orange! I bet it would look mean in orange.

orange? *shudders* i give you the clap to go with your sars *clap* try making it some color other than orange like maybe a deep blue or a light grey.
