My new Skyline

Another double post. I posted the first one and then clicked the 'back' button. Then I went to another page. After I came back to GTP, I thought, "Did I post that yet?" And I clicked 'Post Message'. Second time I've done that.

Nice cars mate! I think they look better with out the spoiler, but it doesn't look bad with it. Just looks cleaner without :)

I wish we got Skylines here in the US. Do you see them a lot in NZ? For example, BMW 3 Series are rare in my area, but they're's one on every street in the UK. Yesterday, I did see an E92 M3 though.

Yup, they are everywhere. But for every decent one, there's 13 with cut springs and bumpers hanging off, with the seats all the way back.
 
Yeah, there are HEAPS of Skylines here. :D

My brother has had three R32 GTS-25's (an auto sedan which he totalled in a crash on a gravel road, another auto sedan which he's just sold to our youngest brother who already has a S4 RX-7, and a manual sedan which he sold because it never ran right). He now has an (auto) Supra SZ.
Aaaannd, my girlfriend has a R32 Skyline GTS coupe (manual conversion) and her Dad has a factory manual R32 GTS coupe which he bought after selling his GTS-25 manual sedan.

I think NZ probably still has the second highest amount of Skylines in the world after Japan.

I'd love to supercharge a NA Skyline. A mate from the Skyline club was gonna do that to his GTS (well, it was a GTS until he chucked a RB25DE from a crashed Stagea into it) but now he's trying to sell it and buy a V8 Soarer.
 
Only 140hp? Was that the default hp on the car? If not, I'd suggest an oil change. Trust me, you never get a full car without full hp.

About the car itself, certainly looks retro, it being an R32, and having the GTS badge, rather than a GT-R badge.

Its just the factory maroon. But got repainted about four years back with more colour (apparently Nissan only put a little coating of paint on - so you can pretty much see the metal underneath in theory) and a deep gloss or something. So stands out a bit more. :)

My girlfriends dad has the exact same car and colour but with the original coat, should get a pic one day to compare.
 
Nissan has a name for it other than Maroon don't they though?

It looks bloody awesome and I'd like to know for, ehm, future reference ;) (As in when/if my car gets repainted ><)

I'd doublecheck with some of our luxury version records. I think Nissan slapped an Infinity badge on an R30 or R31 and tried to sell it here.

Edit: nope, but it was on the same chassis. the original Infiniti M i was tight about one thing, though. "F31"

If you guys want Skylines just move up north to Canada... R32s are everywhere. 10-12k CAD gets you a GT-R.
 
Or move to NZ. ;) Within five minutes the other day i saw about six Skylines (white R32 sedan, silver R32 coupe, silver R32 sedan, gunmetal R33 sedan and so on).
