My new toys!

That's right, I've got some new toys for my birthday! HP Photosmart 733 3.2MP digital camera and Altec Lansing 251 5.1 surround speakers! I'm so excited. I finally got a good digital camera and an awesome set of speakers! :D Perhaps I'll take some pics of my computer with my new camera? ;) I'm also getting MOHAA:Breakthrough and possibly a laptop. :D 👍


Anyone else get any new toys recently?
 
See, I told you the 251's kick ass.

I would like to see toler tell his girlfriend that she is a 'toy' to her face.
 
So thats what he said? I have him in my ignore list.

I'll take some pics tomorrow after I get the software for the camera installed.
 
Yes the picture does suck. The lighting in my room sucks so I had to lighten it in PS.
Here are 4/6 speakers. The rear left speaker is directly behind where the pic was taken and teh rear right is on the opposite side.

Yup, I bought these. They make playing Doom 3 ten times as scary then when I had my Inspire 5200 system hooked up. 500 Watts of power equals parentals annoyed. :D

I'm still trying to figure out whether I should use them in conjuction with my motherboard's(DFI's LanParty NFII Ultra B) audio controller or my SB Live 5.1 Digital. Any ideas? I'm not entirely positive about the advantages of using one over the other besides the fact that my sound card is 16-bit.

I took them off to work on it one day and I never put them back on. :lol: It guess it works as some make shift cooling too. :D

Bastid! Those are some nice speakers. I was playing around with them at a local computer store, Sound great. 👍

Just try both out once you get them. You would think that the soundcard would be better right?

If it was an Nvidia Soundstorm its no question, the soundstorm will sound 100 times better than a 30 dollar SB Live 5.1, but if its one of the more high end models just give it to me and use the Soundstorm :sly:
