My next "slow" car!

Well, I'm about 70% through this game, with mostly just the Professional Series races to go, the time trials in arcade mode, and some of the arcade races to go. I just really haven't wanted to race them for only percentage, so I decided to get some of the cool slow cars that I really have never wanted before. I have gotten most of the ones from the Amateur Series races and Beginner Series races, and I can't decide which other car to buy! I was thinking along the lines of something like the BMW, the Motor Sport Elise (which isn't that slow), and maybe a few Mazdas, Nissans, or something other like that.
 
I like the Elise the most out of the few you have listed. It can handle pretty well.
 
Dude, I totally dig running the polyphony cup with a subaru impreza wrx sti.

However, if you're going to run something besides the polyphony in the pro league, you're going to need atleast a little bit of hp.

I think that the motor sport elise is the way to go for you... you suggested it as a possibility, and I think it's a great car, so go have fun with it. ;)

I also would suggest the MS Elise. Then the Altezza Rs200 and a slightly tuned MR2 may become handy..
 
I've got an Altezza RS220, and I don't like it very much. A little too heavy, and I can tell. Yeah, I've been looking into the top-of-the-line MR2 (is it the G-Limited, or the other one?) and I'm thinking about gettting it. However, I'll probably go with the MS Elise, since all of you recommended it. And GoKents, why did you mention the Polyphony Digital Cup? I'm just wondering, because I just never mentioned that...

In the off chance you do do the PD cup then a R32 Skyline GT-R will be a good car choice. I'm thinking of running the series for a fourth (or fifth?) time in a Godzilla.

It handles pretty darn good and is faster down the straights than the R33 GT-R (as i found out while dragging one along the main straight at Apricot Hill). The Mustang and any other V8 (not sure about the Camaro) will really fly past you on the straights but they suck at cornering and keeping to the tarmac most of the time. It can keep up with the 350Z too (more straightline speedwise than cornering - but it doesn't lose much in the corners) to make for an easy win.

I wish there were more low hp cars (250 - 400 hp) in GT3 as i want something that has really fast straight line speed but cr@p corning so that they all catch up to me in corners.

But yeah. I've done it in a Lotus Esprit 350, R33 Skyline GT-R, Tommy Kaira ZZ-S and one other car i think. (won every race all the times i did it.)

Some cool slow cars are the '90 Mazda RX7, '91 Skyline GTS-t, '99 BMW 328ci, '00 Honda Accord Euro-R, '99 Tommy Kaira ZZ-S and a few others.
 
the ss trueno sprinter is awsome. but you have to adjust the tuning to control the massive oversteer. oh and it has to be won.
 
I've been debating running this series in a Toyota MR2. The tires will be the key choice as to weather I win or not.
Knowing my curse, I can sufficiently rule out winning Seattle, so that leaves me with trying to win 8 races in order to sweep the series.

I've heard of others winning in this car, but can't recall who has.

Hahaha, I have all of the cars you all have mentioned since my last post! :lol: I will list all of the cars I have gotten since I started this semi-project (in the order that I got them):

-Celica GT-Four

-Impreza Wagon WRX STi Version VI

-240SX Fastback Type X
-Mazda RX-7 INFINI III
-Mustang SVT Cobra R (turned out not to be slow)

-CLK 55 (also not that slow)
-Clio Sport Race Car (again, not that slow, but I didn't think it would be)
-ZZS
-MR2 GT-S
-Silvia K's (S13 2000cc)
-328ci

From all of those, my favorites would have to be:

-Elise 190
-ZZS
-Speedster
-Celica GT-Four
-Impreza Wagon WRX Sti Version VI

And my least favorites:

-Silvia K's (S13 2000cc)
-240SX K's AERO

And I'm still working on it! :p

About the Polyphony Digital Cup, well, I'll take all of your advice. I'll test all of the cars myself and see which one I like best. However, I might use an easy car to beat it with since it would be my first time. I will take all of the cars you listed into consideration, however. And thanks! :D

Any more ideas on what I should get next? I am constantly running the European Championship in the Amateur League to get some money, always getting the Vertigo using the save/reload trick. I always use the car I have just won for this championship, it lets me really learn how the car feels. Each time I do that it allows me to get about 2 cars without going too far below what I do not want to go past.

I ran the Polyphoney cup with an RX7 Type RZ. It kicked serious ass.
 
And I'll take that one into consideration too.
 
I have a Lexus IS300...it is crap. Dunno why I bought it...
 
A Skyline GTS-t handles quite well once you get used to it. :)
 
AHHHHH!!! DO NOT QUESTION THE AUTHORITY OF THE LEXUS!!!!!:mad: :mad:

And yes, the Skyline GTS Type M handles quite nicely, I have that one too. Very nice and worth the bucks.
