Why here? Its easy to get rid cheating. Its called kicking and banning.

gamers will always find a way to exploit the code. so your outta luck there

I'm all for it, most likely not going to do anything, but I agree, so you got my sig

cheating doesnt worry me at all.... cheaters are only cheating themselves

well said bro. and if that is the way they fulfill their pride and satisfaction they are free to do so.

that's why online play sucks. you work hard to become good at a game then go online and you get owned by a cheater.

well spoken sir! :dunce:

Online petitions are meaningless. Were you really hoping to send the email addresses to your congressman, so he could propose legislation?

What's wrong with people today?

i'm going to start an online petition to declare this the most rediculous idea ever.

I agree with kicking and banning, if anything a compliant should go to the mod or admin of that particular server. like in counterstrike they enforce anti-cheating heavily, if you cheat you're banned or worse expelled and blackisted, until anti-cheat software becomes more mainstream, we'll all have to just poker up and do our best!

Pointless idea because no matter what there will always be people who have no lives and do nothing but try and exploit the game.

If you don't like the cheating don't play online.

Some games are able to restrict cheating from online play.. Dark Reign 2, a game where you have aliens and build bases and fight the forces, is very well known for its well comprised code which is hard to be exploited by fools looking for a quick win. Ofcourse you get people making mods for it, but anything other then graphics mods out sync there game and auto kick them from the session.. Sounds good eh?..

why can more games do this?

or there are games like diablo 2 (eh anyone??) where there are way too many cheaters, but i could own 95+% of them with my legit chars...
lol

See if you can find any of the drivers in any of the 9 Boards series we've had (5th one coming soon) cheating.

Bet you can't.

Bunta fujiwara, Here is an idea........ instead of wasting peolpes time with pointless partitions that won't acheive a thing, why don't you write anti cheating software for games!!!!

if it worries you so much stop talking about it and do sumfin about it instead!!!!

A petition wont stop people from cheating. What are you gonna say to them? "I have a few people that want you to stop cheating, please do so"

Noone that ive seen or heard of has ever cheated in OLR and there's a simple method of pointing out cheaters, it's called replay verification.

I know that anybody with complete disregard for the rules of fair play would of course instantly stop his wrongful action because there was a petition.

The stop sign is there to make people stop, but not everyone stops just because there is a stop sign.

All of you who are flaming this guy should be ashamed.

Cheating is a serious problem... Not every competition gets the attention BC challenges do.

True, this really isn't a good way to combat OLR cheating, but atleast this guy wants to something.

Fact is, replay verification is just about the only way to stop cheating but once you commit to that it becomes really hard for the average person to get involved in OLR.

Also, if you any of you think these statements are true...

Cheaters don't cheat themselves... They cheat every person who worked for their accomplishments and didn't win because of the cheater.

Anyway, the road to hell is paved with good intentions...

Cheating is bad but there is nothing an e-petition will do about it. :(

👍 👍 👍 I couldnt agree more Kent!

One just need to look at sports....it is NOT ok to take Anabolica and other steroids to enhance the performance. Giving up on the fight against it and to say''we are not going to win this fight, so just lets forget about it'' is not the right way to deal with it.

Don't join any competition if you dont intend to follow the rules of it!

You tell 'em Bro!

I *just* picked up my MaxDrive thing today so I can do OLR here at GTPlanet :trouble: and was TOTALLY bummed because the main point of the dang thing is that it has over 50,000 cheat codes on it! :yuck: I spent $40 for a bunch of stuff I didn't need, just to get the one thing I really did need. But ahhh, NOW I can submit my Qual time and be able to prove it! (I doubt it's Div I speed but I don't care, I know it's for real and I know ya'll won't let cheaters cheat here.)
