ok so... I've bought the game and finished the offline game and now I wanted to play online.. but it wouldn't let me :nervous:. everytime i picked a server it always say unable to connect to all players.. what is happening here? is my internet connection to slow? :scared: I have a decent broadband it's quite fast I can download files up to 156 kb/sec.

It could be your modem. If the NAT of your modem is strict or even moderate it may stop connections being made. That said my one is moderate and I usually have no problem. Then again I don't know how many people I can't connect too.
However it could be another problem but I'm afraid I don't know much about online connections etc.

You have to open the port on your Router.

Xbox 360: Port settings for Xbox Live

SUMMARY

loadTOCNode(1, 'summary');This article describes situations where you may have to configure port settings on your networking hardware to connect to Xbox Live.
MORE INFORMATION

loadTOCNode(1, 'moreinformation');Most broadband routers use Network Address Translation (NAT). Windows Internet Connection Sharing also uses NAT.

For most devices that use NAT, port forwarding is not required to connect to Xbox Live. This is especially true if you use an Xbox Live certified device. Port forwarding should only be needed if you use a proxy server or a true firewall device instead of, or in addition to a NAT. Sometimes, you may have to configure port settings on a non Xbox Live certified router or gateway.

If there is a firewall device between the Xbox console and the network device, you may have to configure the firewall to enable communication on specific network ports. If the NAT status in the Network Status area of the Dashboard is "moderate" or "strict," you may have to configure port settings.

The following ports must be available for Xbox Live to operate correctly: •UDP 88•UDP 3074•TCP 3074For information about how to configure port settings on a firewall, router, or gateway, see the documentation that came with the device. If you are using an Xbox Live certified device, and the NAT status in the Network Status area of the Dashboard is "Moderate" or "strict," verify that the device has the correct firmware. For information about Xbox Live certified devices, including the correct firmware version for the device, visit the following Xbox Web site: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/connecttolive/ (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/connecttolive/)

Ok... I'm not really good with computer but I understand most of it and I don't know how to configure my ports. I don't know where to put UDP, and TCP. can some one help?

Does this have to do with anything near port forwarding? if so what do you put in the start port and end port?

I use Netgear RT314

Hmm..

I,ve did some search in google...

You're out of luck...

IF YOU DONT HAVE A MICROSOFT CERTIFIED ROUTER OR GATEWAY!>>

1. The first thing you must do is make sure that UPnP is enabled. This stands for Universal Plug and Play (used for gaming the most)>>

2. Since you don’t have a Microsoft certified router or gateway you need to go to the Port forwarding option and make sure the following setting are in.>>

UDP 88>>

UDP 3074>>

TCP 3074>>

This will make sure you router (In my case) has all ports open when connecting to Xbox 360 live so that you get an OPEN NAT.

3. Also worth adding the ports to port triggering for 100% peice of mind-

To open the ports you will need to access your router via your PC and go to Port Triggering.

Label the post Xbox1 in the first address line, then input 88 in all boxes, and finally click ENABLE.
Label the second line Xbox2 and imput 3074 in all of the boxes and finally click ENABLE.

HERE IS WHAT NAT LOOKS LIKE IN A NUT SHELL.>>

To make this easy for everyone, we’ve created a chart for your use.>>

To Strict>>

Suppose you want to host an Xbox Live game and you’re using a router that’s classified as open. Armed with that information and using the chart above, you can be confident that your router’s NAT type will not keep your friends (who may also be using routers) from finding your session, hearing your voice, and enjoying a great game.>>

But let’s say you’re behind a router that’s a strict NAT. When you want to host a game, you now have something to consider. Anyone else who’s behind a router that uses a moderate or strict NAT may not be able to connect to your session.>>

Let’s look at one final example going the other direction: you joining someone else’s game. Will you be able to participate fully with everyone in the game? If you have a moderate NAT on your home network, you can get an idea of what may happen by looking at the chart. If the players you want to play with are using strict NATs, you will likely experience problems. You may not be able to hear them and they may not be able to hear you. You may not be able to see those players at all.>>

Note NATs don’t affect lag; this is all about connecting to other players!>>

Here are the Router, Gateways, and Wireless Bridges that are Cert. by Microsoft.>>

I found something that might be able you to play online.

To Enable Port Forwarding for MR314 or RP114
 1. Type the router's address in an Internet browser's address bar. (By default the router's address is 192.168.0.1).
 2. Enter the router's username and password.
 3. Click Advanced > Ports on the left menu bar.
 4. Enter the first port number in an unused Start Port box.
 5. If only one port number is to be forwarded, enter the same number in End Port. To specify a range of ports, enter the last port to be forwarded in the End Port box.
 6. Enter the IP address of your local server in the Server IP Address box.
 7. Click Apply.

Using Xbox Live with NETGEAR Routers
NETGEAR has Xbox certified routers!
Note that the listed, certified firmware may no longer be available; later firmware is likely to work, but is not certified unless listed.

There is no information on what will be certified in the future. But if an existing model does not appear on the product dropdown on NETGEAR Home Page, then it will not be certified.
If using older routers such as RT311, RT314, RT328, RH348, RP114, or RP334, or if you have problems with connecting to Xbox Live, refer to the Microsoft Xbox Troubleshooting page.
Other Troubleshooting Information
 • Upgrade to the latest router firmware.
 • Open ports 88 and 3074. (There are non-NETGEAR sources that say this is unnecessary, however it is.) For a description of opening ports, see How is Port Forwarding Configured?
 • The MR314 works with 3.26 firmware, using port forwarding.
 • There is no known workaround for the RO318.

I found something that might be able you to play online.

I tried opening the ports and it didn't work... I guess i have to buy a new router :nervous: thanks for helping me everyone!

I've tested the network setting on the xbox and it's all green. but it won't let me play PGR3 online! I've tried with table tennis rockstar game and It worked fine on ranked match but on tournaments it is the same as PGR3 cannot connect to other players.
