Do you keep it in a cabinet? - Mine used to do that until i took it out of our TV cabinet and placed it vertically on top next to the TV.

Yep its in a cabinet, *sprints to cabinet*. It happend one time earlier outside of any cabinet but that was an pretty extreme hot day quite some time ago.

Still strange it does not stop even when not playing any game in it

If you can use it outside of a cabinet, even an open fronted one like the one mine used to sit in, i would certainly recommend doing so. I've not had any issues at all since i took it out, even though it now sits less than a foot away from a central heating radiator.

Also using some canned air to clear out the dust every once in a while is not a bad idea either.

Thanks for all the tips & tricks , will try the vacuumcleaner first as i dont have canned air :P

Its little bit more difficult to move ps3 out, since new house... but ps3 will be at the other side of the room now (luckily not big room).

Edit: After vocuumcleaner and a open space its seems it has stopped :)
