i built this cockpit for my DFGT. since then it's been modified to suit my G27 & shifter. images below only show it with the DFGT but i'll get some new pics & post up with the G27.
the design is different left to right, there is no vertical post on the right hand side so that it's simple to get in & out of. the sitting position is closer to that of a family car than a racing car or kart with the sitting position being higher & pedals nearer.
it now includes casters/wheels for moving about, a 'T-Post' for the G27 shifter & some aluminum for the G27 pedals which sit further forward & on less of an angle due to the pedal setup with that wheel.
note the angle of the pedals in the plans is for the DFGT & was altered to suit the G27 pedals. also the width of the cockpit was based on the width of the racing seat i used.
