ive had this for about 3 months now....

Fanatec CSR + Elite Pedals + GTR Simulator Cockpit

i think its a real clean set up and am very happy with it..

i think ive got about $800 in it all not counting the TV that i already had

the cockpit is sturdy enough so no problems there.. it worked fine with the Logitech DFGT i had before picking up the Fanatec

I used some 3M Di-noc Carbon wrap to cover up the Forza Logo... not that i have anything against forza as i picked it up day one and played through the world tour... its just this gives it a better look and im a lifelong GT fan at heart

i opted not to get the manual shifter as im more of paddle guy in real life so i just went ahead and made the clutch pedal a dead pedal foot rest

oh ok thanks...just posted... didnt see that thread

No problem!

You might want to close this one to avoid a duplicate thread or a mod may well close it for you.

Very nice set up though mate, sure beats my coffee table & "easy" chair

Beautiful rig. As others have already mentioned , it's very clean and simple. Best of all , it seems to fit in with the decor of the room. The lady of the house would have to be very pleased about that !

Phenomenal job there, amazingly clean! Love it, what you say just $800? Wow, that's a bargain.
My setup with cockpit (which I built) costed me 650 euros and it looks nowhere as good as this.

thanks guys

i had a living room space i didnt use so decided to so a tasteful cockpit set up.. the rooms a bit plain but mainly am just in there when playing

yea around $800

about $420 shipped for the wheel and pedals

then the GTR simulator cockpit i got for about $290 ( shipping was 75 so $365 all in) on ebay. I think it lists for something like $349 on the company's site.. they make a version that has a mount for a flat panel TV... but the TV and the stand is just something i happened to have extra ( but its a 40" 1080P so does the job)

yeah i honestly had never heard of them before...but being im a big GTR ( the actual car) guy ...someone on my owners club posted that they had gotten this on ebay for a good deal and i just went ahead and picked it up too

this is the site with info on the different versions.... http://gtrsimulator.com/

here is a quick vid i took right after i got it all set up.... the distance to the TV and overall height is about right

this was with Forza but im sort over it now and back to just GT... but its good to have the option of being multisystem

Nice setup. Love seeing a clutter free setup, one of my pet peeves when people show a set up that is awesome to then ruin the appeal due to dirty socks and cherrios all over.

Do you like your clutch that low or is there another reason? Just curious.

If you have kids its unavoidable you'll find cheerios EVERYWHERE. agree about dirty socks though
