so since 2-3 days i was planning to do a desk for gaming, but on wich i could put a wheel, pedals, shifter and handbrake on it, with my monitor, pc, playstation, some pens, games, etc. i finally did it this morning, took me 3hours. its a bit big but i needed space. i still need to buy a monitor and find a car seat so i can destroy that *** uncomfotable chair. i can still add some piece on it, right now i have the DFGT so i dont have a shifter, so when ill get a wheel with a shifter ill make a hold for it + a hold for a handbrake. well this is my racing desk, i got a pictures of the plan i did, but the plan isnt clear i got it in my head, if you want me to do the real plan ill do it. let me know what you think :)

So you've gone for a sort of general PC use rig as well! Not many people go for that around here apparently. Here's mine, even after two years it's a long way from being finished:

I've modified it recently, this is as it is now. Previously the deck the monitors are bolted on to was half as deep as it is now which gave me some eye strain headaches, also just today I... Err, let's just say I modified the keyboard tray bit so I could move it downwards and also I can pull it out much further for typing comfort. There's still more to be done though, I think I'll make the keyboard tray even deeper and more stable (i.e. so I can actually lean on it while it's fully extended), add an arm rest on the left (the same as there is on the right) and make it so all three parts are the same height so it forms a sort of continuous desk. Then obviously I need to paint it. And replace the MX-5 seat I've got for one with a massage function maybe.

That chair of yours looks seriously uncomfortable!
 

well your setup looks realy nice, i still have work to do on mine, ill paint it someday and close the sides, i also need to to a real keyboard tray that i can push and pull, i just need the things that are in a drawer to fix it. i have must did it longuer, my chair is always falling off on the back, but with a car seat i can adjust it just like a keyboard tray, so i guess i wont be a problem hwen i get my seat. if soon you change your seat let me know ! ill try to find one in a scrapyard this week but i dont think im goona find one that ill like
 
I got quite lucky with the seat, I went on EBay and found they were mostly too expensive and there was a pair from an MX-5 with a week remaining. I looked at the listing anyway and saw that the guy was in the next town from me, so I messaged him saying I could take them off his hands that day for £20 in cash, and he accepted. The driver's side seat had a fair bit of wear but the passenger side was perfect, but either way, £10 per seat was a good deal! It's not the most comfortable thing ever though, and I don't have mine on runners (he needed them for his kit car), but it does the job. When I've run out of things to buy for my PC I might get a better seat, maybe one from an S2000.

i found a rugged miata but the guy doenst want to sell piece apart :(
 
i found a seat in a scrapyard today! i found a mustang around 2005, but the guy didnt want to let me take a seat, so i got a mazda 3 seat, around 2005 too, hes looking nice and very comfortable, for 20$ its very cool :) heres a photo

i also found a sick leather seat, but he was electronic so i would not be able to adjust it as i want
 
You could make the seat lower and the pedals further back to create a more formula type cockpit for the next one.
