In 2 days I have been here a year.

I think this site has a great community and great online racers. I have had my ups and downs here but most were ups. I think everyone here is heard and treated equally with everyone else. Some people have been here to give others a hard time but...that is not even 1% of the community. Alot of the time fellow GTP'ers share a joke with one another. This forum is serious and not so serious at the same time. It sticks on the topic of Gran Turismo whilst letting us go off topic as well. I think thats what keeps this forum alive, the variety.

Anyway thanks to the guys I have met in the last year for treating me well and not just ignoring me.

Thanks Jordan:tup:

Thanks for the kind words. Here's to another year.

Uh...... congrats on the anniversary mate. 👍 So be sure to stick around and contribute a little more..... ;)

'Ohhhh yeeahhh'

Your pretty cool Casio.

Yes this year has been quite a long one. I could have sworn I have been here longer but hey, the facts dont lie :p

I edited the title to make this my second year. Yesterday was my second anniversary here at the planet. This whole year has gone not only quickly but (how do I describe it) funly?

In December last year I was given my first warning, I believe I should have been given more for the way I treated one of our members, he has become well known here and I dont think he remembers what I did in December. I moved on from that warning, it was a huge shock but now I have not gotten in anymore trouble with the mods. I have helped several people over this year because thats what GTP did to me when I was new. Thats what makes this place so great. The people here are amazing, you will find them in a thread chatting about something, you can join in and make new friends. Some you may even meet in real life but it all starts here at GTplanet.

Thank you Jordan for this wonderful community and website yet again.

!!!!

I've been here 1 year and 4 days now and I have to say it has been great. Since joining this forum helped me get more interested in Photography again, I've gone on to purchase my first DSLR and I'm now even doing a Photography course at college, which I will hopefully progress onto University.

So big thanks to all the photographers on here, the wonderfully funny members and Jordan.

I didn't realise either of you had only been here a year (SSU and Leg) and don't worry about grabbing a warning either Leg, I got my one and only the day after joining (I confess, I didn't read the AUP fully, I was young and naive but have since learnt). It's interesting to see how people develop over time, you can really tell through a forum, particularly those who have never been on a quality forum not full of spam and stupidity, as it proves the true power of the internet. I for one have changed drastically in the past 2 and a 1/2 years of GTPing, and it's not just because I'm older. My general vocabulary and structure of speech has increased tenfold and it certainly wasn't thanks to my english teachers!

Happy late GTP anniversaries to you both

Haha. I too got permanent infraction points just after I joined for scrolling right past those huge purple letters, otherwise know as Famine. It was entirely my fault and I did deserve them, since then I haven't done anything wrong I think.

In fact I'd like to think I've been pretty helpful, but I'll leave that up to you guys to decide.

It definitely feels longer! Congrats, L7!

I remember the good old days when we used to play CoD4 all the time. I remember had to wait 'till 7:00PM for your Australian ass to get up from bed. :D Even with the 14 hour difference, we still had good times. 👍 Congrats, again!

Yep, maybe we can do it on CoD6 some time and I can kick your American ass:p.

To be fair, you've both probably contributed more then I have in half the time
2 years, same time not half 👍.

The highlight was meeting me wasn't it.
Old post.

New post.

Nice and copied. You get around well Casio, I see you post around in alot of different places. You have your own little premo friends. I have noticed that with a lot of premos for example, Azuremen and Bram Turismo. Those two like to post about their wallpapers and photography, I see them post together alot. Thats the only time I feel left out, when two or so GTP friends are talking and I know I cant get in and be involved, I wish I had a little friendship like that. (God that was random). Aaaanyway, back to Casio, your awesome and Aussie, nice to see one of the more popular GTP'ers being Australian. Thats right, popular, you should be happy Casio:sly:.

hey, congrats Legend, i'm kinda new around here (joined about a 1.5 months ago) and am still getting a grip around here... it seems ages, doesn't it?

Ooooh, I thought your thread title 'My second year at GTP' was referring you moving into your second year now. [/confusion] I knew you'd been around longer then 1... (at Legend)

Have you stopped crashing into the roadside furniture in MC:LA yet?

...I dont play it anymore but I am sure that if I did I would still crash. I have gotten way too used to the GTA IV physics.

Congrats on another year, it's good to see that you've moved on from roadside furniture in MC:LA to poles in GTA IV :p

Hope to see you on GTA today, halloween special. :)
