Ok, well its common knowledge that some GTPSP cars will be shareable into GT5 right?
Well the sure way to find out if your favourite car will be in the next series for sure is to check the stats in GTPSP. If it reads "shareable" than its going to be in the game. If it reads "not shareable" it doesn't rule out the chance of it being in the game, it might just mean you have to work hard to get that particular car.
I know it's something many of you know already but for the people who are impatient to know if their beloved Subaru 360 will be in GT5, this method will hopefully ease your minds.

That US car list is missing cars from Prologue..

Are you talking about the first one?

If so GTPSP doesn't have any Prologue cars except the GTR.

Edit: I also would expect there to be closer to 200+ new cars since GTPSP contains a large number of duplicates.

Is everyone certain all cars from GT-PSP will be tranferable to GT5?
I ask this since GT-PSP is basically GT4 ( with some new cars ) for PSP and GT4 is 6 years old now and 6 years is a long time in the car industry.
The majority of the cars in GT4 are still very welcome, but if every single one of them is being remodelled anyway, don't you think it will therefor be logical to assume some have been replaced by their real life replacements?

Don't want to start a whole "which car is obsolete" debate but some cars are already replaced by far more interesting follow ups in my opinion.
For instance the Citroen C5 in GT4 is replaced by a far more interesting C5 IRL and the Opel/Vauxhall Vectra is replaced by the Insignia ( both these replacements are IMO far more interesting than the preceding cars ).

I'm not saying i want these older cars out ( for all i care the new cars are just added ), just that there is a certain limit on which cars will be included eventually and maybe some will just silently dissapear.

Actually, GT PSP has the GT-R Spec V, which is not in Prologue. Also, GT PSP includes several cars that are also in Prologue.

I'm sure there will be plenty of old cars in GT5. The reason why we haven't seen any at all, really, is they're trying to build excitement, and while it may get us excited to see old cars, the kids for whom this is the first Gran Turismo won't be. They just want to see the latest, greatest and fastest, since that's about as far as their interest in cars goes.

It is not confirmed which cars are going to be transferrable from GTPSP. The manual only states that 'your garage' can be transferred.

You know all sorts of things could happen, maybe the licensing agreement expired. Or maybe they simply didn't re-model the car for GT5 (Most of the GTPSP models are recycled from GT4, although some, such as the GTR, are downscaled versions from GT5, so the cars that are new to GTPSP from GT4 are very likely to be in).

Let's hope. Although it's funny GT4 had the T-Ford and that Benz, they're no use to race. I'd like some classic (race) cars from the 50s and 60s :-)

But we'll see when GT5 arrives.

I was not refering to old cars or classics ( the more the better ), but just some cars which will probably never obtain a cult status and most would not even notice they were replaced by the newer version, i mean look at the old C5 and compare it with the new one, ofcourse it's just a personal opinion but most would agree the old one is best left forgotten ( both in game as IRL ).

Now that Bugatti is in the game I'm hoping that they put one of the Royales in there, even though there's no chance in hell they will. I just want to go into cockpit view and look down six feet of hood at a tiny elephant and put my foot down and listen to an engine so big that when they had leftover engines intended for unsold Royales laying around they used them to power trains struggle to move the immense bulk and then once I got it up to speed feel indescribable terror as I try to bring three and a half tons of car to a stop with mechanical brakes.

This is probably because I'm insane.

Heh! But anyway, that sounds incredibly cool for the game! Who knows, eh?
