My Vice City file came back to life.....

Okay, what the hell.
Yesterday night, After I got done playing Need For Speed: Underground, I suddenly had a Need For Killing. I was gonna play GTA3. So I went into my browser and looked through my memory cards. I have 2 black's and a blue and I forgot which one my GTA3 file was on. Then I looked on my Blue card, I saw a Vice City file. It was the same card I had my beaten file one. I deleted it awhile ago when it said,"File Corruption." Then I checked it out, and it WAS my old file, I have all 100 packages, 7,000 kills, EVERYTHING ive done in my corrupted file. I found this quite weird, but im glad it happened.
It left me confused, really. Has this ever happened to any of you'll?

Just did a search for corrupted files because the unthinkable has happened to my GTA3:VC file!

I had just found 98 / 100 secret packages and finished about 85% of the game when the save got corrupted. This is the first time that anything like this has happened to me. The game freezes up whenever I try to look at the memory card saves in the game. I don't have an up-to-date backup and was so darn close to getting the game finished.

Oh well, I learned my lesson, I'm buying an extra (4th!) mem card to back up all my important game saves [ thinking about GT4 ].

On Vice City, if you save at the Ice Cream Factory, your game will 99.99% of the time freeze. Maybe, your cases (if you have saved here) are of the 0.01%...Just a guess.
