This is my first video, and is really just a proof of concept. The actual content of this video is not particularly exciting, but that isn't the point.

I used my Tivo Premiere unit to capture the replay. Regrettably, changing the PS3 down to 480i causes it run painfully slow. I'm not sure why. Every input took four seconds to register.

I used VideoReDo to strip the TiVo headers.

The quality is, for some reason, marginally better on YouTube then it is in VLC on my machine. The quality isn't terrible, I guess, but I would like to find a way to make it better (shy of getting a capture card with an HDMI input).

Sorry I didn't turn off the replay music. I have it off during a race.

The race itself, as I've said, wasn't very good. This particular race was just a Lemons to Le Mans testing session where people tried out cars they might be interested in. It follows GT Planet member Diabolicwyvern around Laguna Seca in an Eagle Talon Esi '97.

When you put a Feed though a PVR there is decoder lag normaly On the video output.
Playing live is normaly impossible due to this lag.
Instead you play and then record the replay as you have done.
Then use select button to change camera. when needed

You tube does not correct Aspec ratio of SD recordings that option has been dropped from Youtubes Flash player support.
So youll need to use that editor to correct the aspec ratio.
640 x 360 pixels
You Tube will Change the resolution to 360p if the original recording is under 480p were as the recording would have been just less than 480p on the PVR. VLC may have detected the Aspec ratio flag and made it 16/9 automatically this can appear to reduce the quality in VLC/Mplayer, The TV does the same thing detects the 16/9 flag and stretches the lines to the correct length.
