So after a long while I've finally decided what I'm going to study next year. I'll be studying Building Engineering (that's what we call it) because it combines my interest for buildings, design, and my interest for 3D computer drawing.
Anyway, we left Saturday April 4th. The plan was to stay overnight at Grimstad for one night to catch some of the city. My girlfriend will be studying Electronic Engineering and design of electronic equipment.
We left on what was at our place a sunny day, but once we arrived there, it quickly became overcast. We arrived at the hotel, which was placed in the hart of the town, where it nearly was impossible to park the tiny Hyundai Accent, and checked in without any problems. We proceeded to get into out room:
The hallway that leads to the elevator to our room:

The room:

It had a nice bathroom, but no pictures of it sadly
A view out of the window, which a bird had messed up:

The front of the hotel:

Where do you guess our room is?

After that we visisted the local shopping centre, the uni, the dorms, and the new uni which is to be completed in 2010.
The new uni:

The old one:

One of the dorms:

As the weather wasn't so great that day, we didn't take that many pictures of the city itself:

We ate at the restaurant in the hotel in the evening, great food, but it came with a big pricetag. After that, we watched Top Gear on the flatscreen in our room before going to bed after some actions which are AUP protected...
The next day, the weather was beautiful, we had a huge breakfast, it was free, so I stuffed myself as much as I could. My girlfriend complained, but I said I'm on a bulk for an excuse
Anyway, here are some pictures of the city that day, when the weather is nice, this city is absolutely beautiful 👍:

The city is a pure studentcity, and the hometown to cyclist Tor Hushovd. I'm exited about representing the Silence-Lotto team colours here
It's beautiful and cousy though, and everything's a 5 minute walk. A gym as well, yay!
Also:
I just HAD to join Omnis and TB
