I see alot of people complaining about the sounds in gt6 and I agree to most of your complaints, however the moment I realised the extent if this problem was today, having spent 2m+ on the mercedes sauber C9 which I have seen in action myself at silverstone.
I purchased this vehicle hoping to revive some of that massive v8 growl I experienced in person, only to be massively disappointed by GT's attempt at recreating that very sound, it sounds like I high pitched death cry of a cat, the very sound I would expect from the mazda 787b, which I haven't bought as im sure it will also disappoint, its ridiculous how badly theyve missed with this car and im sure many others are just as bad! Please tell me how this has happened while forza4 got it spot on, gt is meant to be the best thing, closest to real track driving, now being so far out on something as simple as sound pulls the rest of the game into question. Is GT SIMULATOR IT IS MADE OUT TO BE?

Lol I don't expect perfection I at least expect something close, I only wrote this post due to how far off they truly are.
 
Un-Official Gran Turismo response: No cats were harmed in the making of our sound effects. That just happened to be a worn belt on our vacuum cleaner. :lol:
