Hi, i'm new here.
I was writing down some ideas for GT4, I wanted to send it to PD but didn't know how. so here it is.(farly long)

there are lots of things that should be in gt4, the first is time. the programmers must take there time to make the game to make it glich free and not like the othere 3 editions.
now let's start from the beginning, you should start the game with no money at all, from where you get the cash you ask, none othere than the good ol' licenses, if you get silver in a test you get let's say 1,000 cr, you get gold you get 2k, get gold without gitting silver get 1 + 2 = 3k, get silver in first try =2k, get gold in first try to get 2+3=5,000 cr.
also there should be 8 licenses (6 road and 2 rally), the first 2 should be easy to get all gold, as easy as the b license in gt2, the mid 2 should be like the the i-b & i-a in gt3, the last 2 should be harder to get all gold than the s license in gt3, and the 2 rally fit in between the 3 pairs of road licenses. the prize cars are respective to how hard the tests are.
going to the dealers there sould be used cars in most of the dealers (including euro and us dealers) basicly a used car is a stock car with miles on it, so just put miles on the car and some damage (at least engine damage) and you have a used car, and when you buy a used car the price should not go down like in gt1&2, also the price of the stock cars should go down by only 50% after perchese, and as you put miles on the car it's price gose down.
taking a look at the races they should be more than in gt3, the same number of car-specific events or a bit more (like may be a supra or rx7(or8) event), also some wight restrictions (you can add wight to the car but we will get to that), no hp limit because you only give me a hint of what hp to set my car at (I remember in gt2 I set my car to the hp limit then find out that theres a big gap between me and the best cpu), more 'untuned' events (beginner, amateur and professional), displacement restrictions (to make it more like the real races),rally series insted of repeating the same race with more laps, rally courses that have a start and finish (not a loop) (like pikes peak), may be a paris-dakar rally that only SUVs can enter, also some drive train rallys, wet tracks are not rally but wether can change in an endurence event, a 24 hours le'mans endurence (given that you can save in the pit lane), also there should be sedan, van(I think they are fun), SUV, wagon, compact, muscle car, drag(may be & may be not) tuned(none racing moded) and/or a combination of these(sedan-drag, tuned-suv, FF-wagon, fr-compact,etc...).
now to the game play, there should be more indicators like gas, heat, oil level (in additon to oil quality) and any thing you can think of, the handling in gt3 is good please don't change it, in the pit you can add gas and oil(add not change),cool down the engine change the tires(may be to another compound or to rain tires), repair damage and save the game.
the best thing in the game is the tuning part, so it must remain the best, it has to be huge with lots of parts, what I would love to see is the ability to change the engine to another one respectiv to displacment and no. of cylinders(eg. I can put a skyline engine on a ruf 3400 but not visa versa)you can buy the engines from the dealers and use them on your car(s), the other thing i like to see is a supercharger that gose with both turbo & NA(I know of lots of cars which have both turbo + superchargers), these two will make a diffrence between gt4 and others in the series, some nice things includ: 3 displacment stages(like wight reductions), 3 tire size upgrades (like mufflers), a stage 5 turbo, 4 NA & 4 sc(supercharge), racing modification and oh, yes, wight balancing (add wight to the car to balance it (like brake balance), the front-rear wight distribution should be denoted).
cars I think should be added:
some bugatties like the veyron with 1001 hp
the ford gt (new gt40), gt90
the ford indiago
the street falcon
the holdens are good
ferrari or mclaren
bentley, may be a le'mons one
the koenigsegg cc, it's like the zonda
the hyundaies
italdesign cars, a way to cheat the lambos
the bmw z3, z4, m3, m5 and a race car
mercedes clk-gtr race & road cars
dodge copperhead concept (concept car in gt1&2)
cadillac sixteen
indy cars, not beter than F1s but they can be tuned
the dodge tomahawk, it looks like a bike but it has 4 wheels
the audi avus
some dragsters with 7000+ hp
trucks (not small ones but the big powerfull lorries)
sedans like the camry, maxima and altima
the SUVs are good for the paris-dakar
and the other cars that people want
BTWs & other stuf i missed:
for the hp limit i think it's better to make open & alternetivly use weight limit & AI with closer power-to-weight raito
different difficalty levels (kid-mode, easy, normal, hard and custom) they differ in prize money(kid=more, hard=less), AI, license and completion prize, but not prize cars
the last thing I like to see is a fantasy mode, so you can do any
thing you can't in real life like, going in a long straight curse
so you can see the highest thoretical speed of the car, make some
curses of your own(I know the landscape will not look good but they
will have a solution), may be a long tunnel, edit your cars hp,
drivetrain, etc...
i wish some day they would read this <<< life is so crule
