- A lot more events, series and races in A-Spec including Rally, F1 and NASCAR.
- Better AI like Forza. They're very challenging and human-like. AI in GT5 is just... laughable.
- Full list of premium cars.
- Better background image, need to be high res like Forza 3, e.g. Mountains, etc.
- More cars and tracks.
- Improved online multiplayer (if possible).

Particularly important things for me is bigger A-Spec and better AI.

Hope you take note, PD.

I laughed at the Forza AI comment lmao. But everything else sounds ok. So why do you car about GT6 already when GT5 just came out?

It's kind like a feedback and I want GT6 to be better and bigger than GT5 so it is important for them (PD) to hear from the fans.

Just get racing right.

Add a flag system, safety car, race restarts for NASCAR, and other such stuff.

I wish that the Gran Turismo series would make a transition away from a trophy-collecting, have-to-finish 1st in every event, gotta catch em all mentality.

Even now in the 5th game of the series, the A-spec mode is still incentivized to make the player want to take the most overpowered car possible to each event, massacre the mediocre AI, and collect the prize car or gold trophy and move on.

I'm so glad for the online component for a real challenge, because A-spec is still just a long grind.

Some users play video games for trophies or 100% completion, but GT needs to take a broader approach to game design and make the actual RACING in singleplayer worth something, instead of it just being an obstacle to finishing 1st.

Best AI i've seen are from Rfactor. They are stupid as ****, but they are also fast as hell, and you can adjust exactly how fast or slow you want them to be. Which makes up for the stupidness, because you can have a very challenging racing experience.

The AI actually seems to notice me and get out of my way while I'm lapping them.

It's not great AI, but its not garbage either really.

GT5 ai got improved greatly with this patch, i did the FGT championship earlier today, and i noticed that they tried to avoid me when i wiped out, instead of all piling into me and smashing me into a wall, they also didnt block me when i lapped them.

Also to note though, the AI now cannot drive around the Nurburgring GP course, i ended up lapping them very soon because they kept spinning off just before the last corner or at the schumacher S bend. When i was lapping them i had to drive through and avoid a massive pileup of AI cars, just coming up to the last corner.

Ideally, in GT6 every A-spec event would have online matchmaking built in.

Let's say you want to play a Ferrari one-make race or some BS like that. You enter the A-Spec event, and you are matched up with several worldwide racers entering the same event at that same time.

The remaining spots up to 16 cars would be filled in with AI drivers.

They also mess up a lot at and right before Tetre Rouge on La Sarthe in the wet. The AI has improved a lot since release, and they can only keep improving on it.:)

Nope... that's the wishlist for GT5

IMO GT6 wont be a long wait. First I want more tracks. Its redicolus if you look at GT5 track list. Second better online mode, stable rooms, qualifying etc.
Third, more premium cars.

You could NEVER get a race like this with GT5's AI. The car in the back would have been nailed the driver like a hundred times already and the Vette would have sent him in the grass half-way in the first lap trying to get the line back yelling "GIMME LINE , GIMME LINE" the whole time. I want this kind of racing in GT5 and it BETTER be in GT6.

My main wishes:
Most of the prize cars have to be NON-PURCHASABLE. I really liked when you actually got a reward for winning which couldn't otherwise be obtained, and
NONE of the prize cars should be won in more than one way. It's bad enough with purchasable prize cars but now if you're going for all prizes you inevitably end up with copies. This is particularly annoying in GT3 where you spend hours golding a license only to win a car that you already got from some easy race series in amateur league.

My main wish for GT6, is for the car delivery truck to go away.

The Forza video looks cool, and its nice to see close competition with the AI, but the physics system leaves a lot to be desired.

Interesting, how can you tell?

From the video? i've never seen in my life a car that drove so smooth, that did not even hint at the idea of possible oversteer or understeer, and that is what i saw in the video.

Outside of the video, My nephew is an Xbox 360 fanboy, he's only 12 years old. Brought his Xbox over tonight and i got him to get off Black ops for 5minutes to let me try out Forza 3. I didnt play it for long, seems like its a great game, but as i said, the physics leave a lot to be desired.

I see, so every car should over/understeer. I'm just saying. I played FM3 from release till today and GT from a week before release till today and GT5 definitely has the edge on FM3 , no doubt about it, but "a lot to be desired" is FAR from where I'd describe it. There IS under/oversteer in FM3 but it's definitely not as pronounced as it is in GT5. If I'm not mistaken that Mustang in front that was being chased showed some oversteer in the video.

I know you say you never seen a car in your life that drove so smooth, I have ,wanna see it, here it goes...

Well the AI behaviour you describe for GT5 is in Forza 3 too:

What is wrong with this guy though, he could easily overtake the cars in front.

The big thing wrong with Forza is the floaty feel and lack of punishment. Driving in Forza with no assists, you could think you are Schumacher in his prime but then you try to lose a sports car deliberately and it feels impossible, going full lock left and right, off and on grass, full throttle but you can easily maintain control. Try that on other sim games or even arcade games and you will spin out. That is when you know something serious is wrong with the driving in the game and that probably is mainly due to the permanent active steering aid.

I'm not even getting into the same arguments with you OVER and OVER again. All I know is a good percentage of what you say is false from my and just about everyone else who's played the game experience. Let the those who are reading try for themselves. I'm done.

Now that is racing. The AI actually race one another, how about that :)

What's funnier than a wishlist for a game that's still at least a decade away?

The fact that many of you have already posted in a thread on exactly the same topic not too long ago...

What do you want out of GT6?
