Nürburgring 24 Hour Endurance Q

hello, first post.
i of course did a search of Nurburgring 24 already to see if my question has already been answered but i didnt see it so.

i just entered the Nürburgring 24 hour endurance race. and well its midnight and i havent got much sleep in the past couple of days so im not really in the health to stay up for 8 hours watching it in 3x. so this is what im thinking of doing.

just let it run while i sleep, and when i wake up ill turn it back on 3x to finish it up. but im not sure if there is a problem with that.

i know it will automatically det itself for a pitstop when fuel or new tires are needed, i also know that it takes a couple of seconds to figure out that you havent clicked ok. what i dont know is whether or not it will take off the pit stop setting on its own. also is there any way to make it go back into 3x on its own?

the questions for those who dont want to read the ramble
after it does an auto pitstop will it take off the pitstop setting?
will it figure out that a human is not monitoring it and make the pitstop choice faster?

1st. this has been asked
2nd. when in b-spec drive, the pc will pit on it's own
3rd. it DOES NOT switch back to 3x for you, thats a manual input

A search for "b-spec pit stop" might have been more helpful, but it brings up some pretty long threads which are tedious to wade through, even though the answer is surely in there :).

B-Spec mode will automatically pit for you, and it turns off the "pit stop" selection after it does. However, it will not stay on 3X speed by itself, nor does it notice if you're actually paying attention. It doesn't really matter a whole lot though. You can do a 24 hour race with no attention whatsoever. If you want to monitor it, and set it back to 3X after every pit stop, go ahead. You'll have to do it every 20-30 minutes, and the race will take ~9 hours, but it can be alright if you have other stuff to do while the race is going on. I did it last year with one of the 24 Heures du Mans races. I just did homework, and watched a couple of baseball games, occasionally checking on the race :).

Yes it will, soon after the car gets out, the pit light will turn off.

Actually is pretty retarded, the computer will make pits stops until the car defenitely needs new tires, which means until it Bob (b-spec driver) can't handle the oversteering on the car (if it's a FR). same thing with gas. so it run more laps before pitting than you usually do.

and it doesn't matter if your quetion wasn't answered in the thread, next time, post your question there instead of making a new thread about it; then the thread will light up again and come up first on the thread list so everyone knows that there's a new post.

and your questions were mostly about B-SPEC mode, and you can look at the stickies at the top of the forum and easily find b-spec FAQs were the above questions WILL be answered...thank you.
