Nürburgring Problem

Hello.. Everytime i have a problem with every of the Nürburgring tracks... When i press the start button the game is just loading and then all of a sudden the sound disapears.. I can press the "O" button and stop it from loading and then exit out but then when i exit out it just keeps on loading with that black screen with the GT sign in the middle untill i remove the power from it and start it up again... I've had this problem for serveral months now (8-9 months maybe)
 
The day that I can't enter my beloved Nürb will be a black day indeed :scary:

Assuming that you have tried the usual fixes? Other than modem resets and cache clearing what trouble shooting have you been able to do?

Also, how old is your modem?
 
I am not sure about the age of the modem.. But it is anywhere even in the S section races.. Theres that 24 min. Nürburgring race which i cannot do because of that problem. I waited a bit of time doing anything to it assuming it was one of thoseproblems thatfix themselves after a short while but it sure as h ain't. I figured that i had to do something about it and then i started searching around on the internet for days where i couldn't find anyone with the same problem as me... And then i ended up in here
 
I would delete the game data files and clean your disk. It sounds like a corrupted data file to me and possible bad disk.
 
No, that is in your save game file which you should not delete, I do suggest making a copy of it onto a flash drive though, backup.
 
Try a new disc. $14.99. I'd rather do that than got through a day's worth of update micromanaging when you re-install.
