Hello,
My name is danno, or more commonly known as "CheekyChimpanzee" on the PS3.
I picked up GT5 today from the store and I'm absolutely pumped to get in and try it out, some of the screenshots look amazing. I'm completely new to driving sims... aside from the old nascar sit-in machines @ the movies, I once owned NFS on the PSP. Ten bucks says I'm about to get a lesson in a real driving game.

Queensland, Australia.
* When did you start playing the Gran Turismo games?
I'm predicting in about 5 hours I will have then started.
* Do you play with a steering wheel?
No. I should though. I can hardly work a control pad, but I drive my 4x4 across the country like it's a bat outta hell!!
* What other games do you enjoy?
Got a history of First Person Shooters running in my veins.
* What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site?
Learning. I've got my "L" plates back on for the first time in 15 years. This time on a playstation. I struggle changing my own oil @ home, so I have a LOT to learn for this game.
Now, play nice with the noob.
