Name and Shame

I would like everyone to Name and Shame all those who have punted, shunted and basically chosen the fasted car in GT5-P (Ford GT LM) just to get a win that they cannot gain anything from not even a trophy as PD think it is not relavant.

I want everyone to be aware that if you cannot race properly then dont race here with those who are trying to race like normal people. I have come across many drivers who just punt and shunt maybe because their skills as a GT Racer are more like the skills of a Grid Racer or MotorStorm Racer.

Point being, if you cant grasp the idea to race in a straight line and not knock your opponent off the track then please go back to Grid or Need For Speed. There is one driver at the moment that i have my sights on and will be watching and i think everyone should look out for, or you may have come across him.

This thread has been done before, and I believe it was closed.

I don't think naming people who punted you online is terribly productive. Especially as it may not have been intentional, it hard to tell with the lag of online matches.

Actually this person has been doing it now for a couple of months and i have been quiet about it. From a Clio to a Ford GT, He has done the same thing. i can understand if this is a little non-productive but i think it is needed as newbies or even those who have been racing GT for a while just do it for their own fun.

I agree, if its a persist punter then you can't really attribute it to lag. While that driver needs to change their driving style, starting a thread here probably isn't going to help them change it unless by some off chance they pass by and read it (unlikely). Even if they do read, what's the chances they will care.

The main thing would be to warn people about this bad driver, but there are far to many bad drivers to warn about, remembering all their PSN's would be a nightmare.

No. 1 I am racing in intermediate pp750 Suzuka. But it's not like that with all the racers. Some do Punt and Shunt and are the repeat racers that i come across but i have seen that if you race fairly they will too which has been a welcome change. But this racer in particular is always doing the same thing not just to me but to anyone that comes in his way.

No. 2 I have left him a message which was to the point and very heart felt at my dissapointment in his driving style..........ok a few swear words were left in english and spanish so i have proberly made it worse for myself, but that is a risk i am willing to take especially when i on occasion slow down and let him pass, but it make little difference.

It is a frustrating issue but theres too many guys doing it. There are even racers in the expert level now, that have good race pace but become punters when you try a clean pass on the straight These guys even seem to be entering at GTP times.

Oh well, guess we'll have to wait for password protected private rooms

To choose a faster car that you know is faster than the rest, and then to start punting everyone off the track is nkot good at all.

If you sign up and get a GTP tag there is a Black List section where you can report drivers who we should all be aware of.

Well i've just been on GT5-P for about an hour. I dont usually race in the afternoon only during the evening up until 12am, but i found that it is all getting a bit boring now which we can go into more detail in thread where that has been started.

It's been a long time now that we have been playing GT4 and GT5-P, and it seems to blend into one so now you are just racing to race. Dont get me wrong i love GT, I'VE BEEN PLAYING SINCE 1995, but we need, i need GT5 to come out sooner rather than later. As i dont play any other racing games other than F1 06 Championship Edition and FC i find that i'm running out of Gas/Petrol/Umph.......you know what i mean.

Thought on this and the original reason i started this thread.
