Here is part of a quiz I took part in last week - this part is called 'The Marathon Round', which is done in a half-hour 'intermission' between the two halfs of the quiz... Many thanks to John (aka Quizmaster Spon) who came up with all of these 'clues'... Non-UK members might struggle with some of these, since this list was compiled for a UK audience by a UK person, so bonus points may be awarded to non-UK members and for close/good incorrect answers. My team (consisting of three people) managed to get 23.5/30 in the half-hour time slot (although I personally got 14 in that time period). If you want to try 'professional mode', limit yourself to 30 minutes and see how you get on! :D (By the way, the next best score by any of the 11 other teams in the quiz was 19/30, using 6 people! The average score was well below that...)

Please PM me your answers once you are finished, and I'll post a leaderboard in due course 👍 (please also let me know if you attempted 'professional mode')

As was the case in the actual quiz, you can have one (major) clue for one particular question...

(edit: one or two have more than one acceptable correct answer, so don't worry too much about making your choice!)
