Found this show last week, and it's impressive so far. It's based on druglord Pablo Escobar's life, he's the main character of the show. It's a Netflix exclusive and came out late last month.

There's only one season soo far, which is a bummer because I've watched all of it and I'll have to wait a year. :(

IMO, anyone who liked Breaking Bad, would probably like this show as well.
 
I will definitely give it a watch. It has really high ratings so its bound to be good.
 
Finished watching season 2.

Thoroughly enjoyed it and the way it develops the storyline leading up to Pablo's death is perfect by engrossing each individual characters very well where it presents how the individuals played an influence in the ongoing story and emphasises a great perspective in the levels of destruction Escobar had caused to Colombia. The ending will raise up suspiciously of Season 3 which could be involving the 'Cali gang'.

9/10.

Well I was expecting to see more posts about this series, it is a fantastic show. Unbelievable what this guy got up too, what other criminal in history built his own prison and from within it held hostage his countries vice president. I'm totally hooked on this , cant wait to get stuck into series 2

Ok just finished season 2 brilliant, another good thing from watching this is learning so many swear words in Spanish, I no longer curse in English, even my hand gestures have changed also I can't stop pulling up my trousers a bit after chatting with someone .
I've decided that Pablo Escobar is definitely my favourite criminal now.

I agree - I appreciate that the series isn't new, but with so much content available these days, and different release schedules for Netflix, then not everybody will have had the chance to see it.

To be fair if this is based on Pablo Escobar, I can tell you how it ends.
