Review:
Overall: The game has taken steps in the right direction, it’s far from perfect. But it’s actually an enjoyable game now. Career mode can be a lot of fun, and if you get a good group of people together to race online, online can be a lot of fun as well. If the issues get worked out, NASCAR ’14 would end up in the top 5 of NASCAR games in our books. But until then, the issues it still deals with will hold it back from its full potential. We’ll see how Eutechnyx handles the current issues, but for now here’s our overall score:

Yes, has about 4 cockpit views I think. One with a low FOV (or zoomed in) two from a standard FOV (one with steering wheel one without) and one with a high FOV (zoomed out). At least on PC anyway.
 
Played this for the first time today. Definitely an improvement over NTG:IL. Graphics are more polished, gameplay is more refined, AI are more fun to race with (better pack racing at Daytona as well). I'm a casual NASCAR fan, love racing it on iRacing but it's nice to have a more casual NASCAR game to play.
 
Crappy video to accompany, haven't quite mastered the art of getting a HD upload or recording of a game that is less than 20gb...
 
No chrome wheels. There's no excuse for it, again.
 
Glad I didn't buy there game this year, was loyal and optimistic that they would get things right, but seems like same old garbage. 👎
 
I am satisfied.

The games was out on time.
We have about 35 2014 cars.
Paint booth is so much fun on Gen-6 (hate the glare though)
Online is so much more stable for me.

There's work still to be done, but it's a drastic improvement! If you had IL and are on the fence, get it.
 
It's enjoyable enough, and with Steam you never have to pay full price for it.
 
The subtle thing I've always liked is how the catchfence and safer barriers deform when you hit them :)
 
Really? On the fence? Quick, jump off the fence and run as far away from this garbage as possible.On Steam you never have to pay full price,LUCKY YOU,you still got ripped off no matter what you paid.How can anyone actually say this game is any good?Have you been to the NASCAR 2014 forums? Good luck with that too. Having played it on my friends PS3 the other night, this game is utter garbage. They should never be allowed to make a NASCAR game ever again. Waist of money, 60$ paperweight again.

There are some relatively simple tutorials for VirtualDub that could cure all of your woes, or, if you want something to do the work for you, I used to use this.

Incredible! Pretty much happens as soon as you start a race! LOL.

I bought this years ago, and just started playing it. Quite often i have no engine sound, but after rebooting it comes back..very odd !
