Nascar 2011

Okay, earlier this afternoon, I walked my mall and I saw a poster at GameStop saying that a NASCAR 2011 is coming out. Now I am lost as to whether or not Polyphony Digital holds the NASCAR licensing despite this game releasing soon and I don't understand what is going on here. Can someone please point me in the right direction if you know anything?

This is no protest or anything offensive, I am just curious as to what is going on with the way the NASCAR licensing on video games today are properly handled after EA gave it up. Thanks for understanding and if you have no idea, I won't pressure you.

Okay, I was a little confused just then. The day that Polyphony announced that "NASCAR Comes to Gran Turismo 5", it made me assume they have the licensing.

Okay, I was a little confused just then. The day that Polyphony announced that "NASCAR Comes to Gran Turismo 5", it made me assume they have the licensing.

NASCAR said after the deal with EA was up they would not be doing another exclusive license, which is why iracing, PD and Eutechnyx all make games featuring NASCAR.

I know there is another thread, just thought I'd clear that up for you.
