Hi everyone,

First of all thank you for this forum, I've been lurking forever and finally created an account...

My question is about the lvl. 21 NASCAR cup races on the road courses... Every time I drop down to first gear to get around a tight corner (playing with a DFGT, manual tranny, all assists off) my shift into second gear has revs that are really low and I end up losing position on the track.

What can I do for better first to second revs in the stock cars? Thanks for the suggestions.

You're spinning your tires is the problem. First gear should be used as a Launch gear only, ideally, unless you're talking a ridiculously sharp turn.

If you can adjust your gear ratios individually, you might consider lengthening 1st gear. Otherwise, you typically want to shift around 70-80mph in first gear.
