NASCAR B-Spec

Hello all, I got so far ages ago with the Licences but got stuck on the Kart and NASCAR License tests. I've recently gone back to them using the B-Spec mode. I've got through the Kart races, but the NASCAR races are starting to get on my nerves.

I've done the Motegi race. I've got 2nd at Daytona, but only 4th on the High Speed Ring, and 7th at Willow Springs. :(

Any tips for getting past these three tracks? These are the only three results stopping me from from getting the Super Licence. Any tips, either using the commands, and/or changing the cars to get past these three tracks?
 
I'm told the nascars are the same so i use the free Chevy SS.

Here's the thing... using a tune the best I gotten at Daytona is 5th but the time gap to the 1st position is 0.500 of a second... this is bull****... it tells me that the tune is actually ok, its that half a 1% I need.

Also I think I'm at 5th on both of the street circuits via B-Spec.

Ironically I drove the last two ovals to 1st position. This was before B-Spec was out so perhaps I took advantage of the weaker AI? weaker drive model? before the later patches.

Yeah I've come to the conclusion that nascar, karts and the vettel challenges wont be coming my way unless I fluke them.

I really hate these, I mean the Super class races like the 24 mins stuff is actually beatable with B-Spec by good planning and car selection. This stuff? nah..

Doesn't give me much hope for a solution. I hate trying to physically drive the Karts and the NASCAR races.

Hopefully someone will come up with a solution. Anyone?
 
you can set the power to 100% at the street circuits,i’ve done those in a-spec,the ovals i did in b-spec
daytona was the hardest to win imo

I did know that some of the races are 70% power, and some are 100% power.

I've got past the Kart races, and I have done everything but winning the Willow Springs NASCAR race. 3rd is best I have got, and that was playing around with some dramatic set up changes I found on here by killerjimbag. 👍

Still can't get that final star though. :banghead:
 
Force the driver to drive dirty. Constant slipstreaming until the bob wants to back off and then accelerate up to the car in front to force your way through. Rinse and repeat till you get to the front. Just don't floor it too much out of the corner. You'll lose the place you just gained as you spin your wheels up.

It's not pretty but it's effective. Works for the carts too.
