Hey there. Im on the NASCAR Extreme event championship, and i have found both the 1st (indy) and last (daytona) courses pretty easy due to them being built for NASCAR, however, the 3 regular race courses which you have to take part in are catching me out. I find that going at slow speeds, I spin out so easily coming round corners. Even when applying the accelerator very cautiously, i find myself going into an uncontrollable spin, and am therefore having difficulty getting gold in this event.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

same here....would love to here some tuneing suggestions

set the Diff to minimum apart from the breaking you want that max! soft racing tyres.. and very light throttle control :)

Oil change, soft slick tires.

For daytona:
-minimum downforce
-decrease top speed a bit
-keep hugging the yellow line on the inside, keep out of their way
-dont let them slipstream you

Other tracks
-maximum downforce
-lower top speed alot (only lower a bit for indy)
-keep the heck out of their way!
-watchout! hard braking then tight cornering will heat the tires REALLY quick.
-turn on traction control if you have to
-take it easy

Done, easy!

All I did was change the gear ratios, didn't touch anything else

i did them all completely stock.... you must be doing something terribly wrong to spin out in a nascar

are you kidding? its ridiculously easy...

You must be numb in the head, 892 horses will spin tires if you don't put skid recovery on.

Put more downforce on the rear to start with. If you don't want to put TCS on (about 2 would be right) then exit the corners in the gear ABOVE the ideal gear. Flick down when the car is straight (and there are no more lateral Gs).

You can do these events quite easily with practice. Don't move across other cars - it's not worth it :D

Before starting the championship chane the car's oil, I gained 50bhp by doing this!

For the non oval courses:

I blitzed it with Soft tyres, ABS set to 2 and Stability control on. everything else off.

Lastly, adjust the gear ratios so that top speed is around 200mph for optimum performance :)
