hey the max horsepower you can get out of these nascars is 897 right? if thats true did they lower the hp to 892 recently? casue ive had the same nascar since February and i swore it was always 897 with clean oil. and my car is 892 with no need to change oil.

To my knowledge maximum HP will go down eventually as you put miles on your ride. There's more specific test results in other threads.

So even maintaining oil changes and reworking engine blocks hp will still go down with extensive mileage? Anyways thanks for reply ill check those threads out

I have about three nascars right now with 897bhp so no, they haven't reduced the maximum power the nascars can have.. you probably put a few miles on your nascar by mistake or just forgot about it

Change the oil and it should go back up. Eventually high milage cars will lose hp, so a rebuild may be worth it.

The HP (& consequently, the PP) on NEW cars goes UP as the car gets run in & then will go DOWN as the engine gets worn. (All comparisons always with new oil) As mentioned, a re-build would then get you almost back up to the original power.

Yeah i did engine rebuild and all that but still couldnt change oil and horsepower read 892, like i posted earlier got over 3,000 miles on this one. another racer in a lobby told me he had same problem with car on 892 hp and couldnt do oil change saying oil was still in good condition. ill play around with it worse comes to worse i just buy another one.

Even after a rebuild you you wont get that max BHP you had the first time you broke it in. my X2010 Prototype used to get up to 1557 BHP but now after a rebuild and a break in it maxes out a 1540
