Hey, I'm thinking about buying a Nascar, are there any differences between their performance? Because some are light but less powerful and some are heavy but powerful, whats the difference between a heavy, powerful car and a slow, lightweight car?

For those who want to know, I'm thinking about the M&M car

Personally i would go for a chev, its fast, great in corners and more stable.

But heres the differences:
Toyota - better accelleration / lower to speed
Chev - Most powerfull and stable / slower accelleration
Ford - better manouvering / less powerful

In that case i'll take a Montoya 42.

Buy the M&M! It's cute, it's yellow, and it's fast just like the others... and it's Kyle's ride! :D Go Kyle!

In my experience, all the Nascars (in Gt5) seems to be totally the same.

Do the 3rd race of the Nascar seasonal, Win and get the Nascar ticket.
Save your game and back-up to USB.
Use the ticket and try out the car. If you don't like it reload and try another.

Buy whatever one you want they are all 897 HP when broken in and there is no difference.I have all of them and there is no difference between any of them.If someone says there is prove it too me because I have the same tune on them all and they all run the same lap times.

+1

Makes no difference which one(s) you buy. Get the color you like best.

I use different cars so I can remember what they're set up to do.

Allmendinger is my road race car

Montoya is my Indy car

Gordon, Edwards, and Kyle Bush are Daytona cars with different setups.

Correction, they only max out at 892hp, not 897hp. Not sure where you get your info, but your wrong on that. But yea, there all the same so just pick one and have some fun.

That's funny, cause my nascar had 905 BHP last time I looked....

1PS/CV/Ch = 0.986hp
905PS/CV/Ch = 892hp

Next?

905 HP! ^^

I could be wrong, but im pretty sure it was at 905 HP last time I used it.

Oh well... Not a big problem.. I think they're all the same anywayz, performance wise.

silent, you kill me bro, lol. they are all totally the same. not sure how you came up with that but its totally false. I have several of each make with the exact tune on them all and they all handle the same and run the same lap times.

Yes and I do stand corrected as I stated 897 HP it is 892 max.
There is no difference in the cars,it is your setup and driving style that I think is making you see something most of us don't.:sly:

Why are both of mine(Montoya Chevy and Vickers Toyota) at 824 HP.
I have not raced them, so do they just need a tune up?

They need to be broken in by driving a couple hundred miles first. As for the tune ups, there are no power upgrades for the NASCARS.

There is the ridgability reinforcement, but thats totally driver preference. Some use it, some don't.
