Hey guys. I'm looking for clean racers for this event. Planning on hosting these races every Tuesday (or Thursday, depends on what i'm doing IRL). Room opens next Tuesday at 4:00 PM EST. Race will start at 4:30 PM EST. Failure to comply to these rules, and I will ask you to leave.
Rules:
1. No strong language, racial slurs, or innuendos of some sort.
2. You will never insult another driver on the track.
3. No intentional wrecking. This includes spinning or driving the wrong way.
4. There will only be one of each NASCAR on the track.
5. Pace car is to lead the pack on cautions and opening pace lap. Cautions will last 2 laps, and speed during these laps is 80 mph.
6. Try not to bump draft on the turns alot.
7. Don't hit the cones... joking. There may not be more than 3 cars next to eachother at the same time, so no trying to pass through 3 wide packs.
8. If you spin out, then try to get below the yellow line so other cars can pass.
9. Cautions occur when multiple cars spin out.

10. Pace car stays at the end of the pit lane.
11. Driving below the yellow line unless you wreck is illegal.

I don't have a headset for a month as I was using it when I shouldn't have. The idiots are the ones online when I can use it, but the good players from GTP are on when I can't. Go figure...

I'm up for bringing a Pace Car along.
I'd join in racing but i'd like to watch a race before I entered if thats ok?
I'll be using a DS3.
 
Storm if you want him to be the pace car this time then I'll use my #20 Gamestop car again. If not I'm still up for doing the pace car. But if he wants to do it then I'll be pace car next week. Either way works for me :)
 
I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see what my schedule for next week will be. If I can make it, I'll take the #43 again since it's my only NASCAR car. ;)
 
Have you guys seen in the Online Dealership, they have a GT Pace Car for 99k, it looks awsome, with lights on top. Would be ideal for the racing. :crazy:

Haha that's what I was thinking too. Whenever I get picked to pace car I'm using a stock beautiful blue ZR-1. Can't pace a NASCAR race with a Japanese car :D:D:D


Also with all the Camaros in the game it'd be cool if they added one of the pace car versions.
 
True true, although my #18 is effectively a Japanese car, being Toyota ..... and you can't race it in any American Series, even though it's a NASCAR :dunce:

See you Tuesday though mate, trying to get some others who race well, to commit to Tuesday.

Haha mine's also a Toyota. Those don't count though since every car is the same. I do like the gauges in the Gamestop car. Don't know if they're the same in all the Toyotas but they look a lot more modern than the Chevys.
 
One so far has confirmed for Tuesday.

It is Chopperbum and he is a good NASCAR racer.

He would like #48 Impala (Jimmie Johnson's car).

That's another one to the race, and I expect more.

Sorry, didn't see this new thread and was still posting on the one of last week.

I have only one Nascar-car: the #48 Jimmy Johnson.

Storm, if you can't give me that one, put me on the list with another car, I will buy it.

Tips for the pacecar driver (I did it last week): the 80 miles speed asked by Storm is easy to maintain in the grey 2010 Camaro when you drive in second gear just at the limit where the revs limiter shuts down the speed.

Darao would like number #43 if he can make it.

Well, the #43 car is taken if CAMikaze can make it, so that's a maybe.
 
We will have to do it tomorrow or Thursday. I have alot of running around to do today.
 
As long as it stays at 4PM then tomorrow or Thursday is fine with me :)
 
Would have to be weds for me as can't make Thursday. I will let the others know that it is not today as they are not inthe forum

You guys still gonna race? Just reminding you about it. The race is like, 10 minutes late. lol.
 
Seems the race is in Sephy's lobby.
If someone sees this before the start of the race. Can he ask Sephy to respond to my friend request to permit to participate in the race.
 
Nevermind. I'll just host it next week. Sorry. My schedule was interfered with very badly, so I am very sorry. :(

I had a strange problem when you asked me to come into the lobby: when I connected, i got the message: "network incompatibility". I restarted and I could go in, but you weren't there anymore.

I hope that doesn't mean I can't get in when you're in. Was also wondering whether this has something to see with the fact we got a PS3 system update earlier in the week.
