its been asked before and i searched the net all over, i race nascar daytona alot online and would really like to find the answer...all my friends are laughing at me over it. they all have there nascar at 905hp where i cant get mine over 892 and cant figure out why. i must have spent over 5 million credits trying things different cars...cant find it... i have bought all make cars, made them turn all night in the practice mode with an elastic on the x button to break them in, some i ve tried only changing the oil, some others rebuilding the motors... some not buying the chassis stiffening option, some buying it... i have all golds in the jeff gordon nascar event, won a nascar there, same thing 892hp that one too... HELP!!!

You're friends have to be lying to you. NASCAR's don't go over 892.

I have been told the same thing. supposedly the 24 and the 48 can do it if you only do oil changes. It just isn't true. I have tried all the things you mention and it wont happen.
Next time someone tells you that make them prove it. They can either send you the car or share it online. They wont because it cant be done (905 hp). IMO

i have been to one of thems house and i have seen it with my own eyes...905hp..so no they arent lying it can be done... somebody must know...

and i have the 24 and 48... got 2 of each..... one of each has had only oil changes, and the other 2 motor overhauls.... still no luck...

Host a server with your friends and limit the Horse Power, if they say they can't get in or you see them in the settings (adjusting their HP) then their telling the truth. If they just enter, their lying.

After overhoul u have to break in the engine. Probely around 200-300 miles maby more

I did wonder why my R33 had a random boost in HP. I didn't know about this.

The only NASCAR above 892 BHP is the GameStop #20 I believe.

different fuel...lmao... i have a fiend whos going to take a pic of his screen with 905 hp, will post later...

i wonder if that could be it tho... re-breaking in the engine after engine overhaul...ill try that tonight...

I have the All Mendinger Ford Fusion, I do regular oil changes and it's broke in, and it has 905 Hp. Are you sure you have done at least 350-400 Km with the car? Mine has 2350 Km and I never rebuilt the engine.

Would you please show a picture ?

I've heard people say they have over 892 BHP and I haven't believed none of it.

I am doing that when my bob gets done with the last 24 hour event.

Hmm very interesting. Thanks for posting pictures Andy89.

it is still 892 BHP it read 905 CV because french use tax emissions when mesuring READ:
French-made vehicles after the Second World War in particular have had very small engines relative to vehicle size. The very small Citroën 2CV for example has a 425 cc two cylinder engine that weighs only 100 pounds (45 kg), and at the opposite extreme, the large Citroën SM has a still modest 2,700 cc six cylinder engine that weighs only 300 pounds (140 kg).

In France, fiscal horsepower survives. However, in 1958 it was redefined: the formula became more complicated but now it took account of cylinder stroke and of cylinder bore, so that there was no longer any fiscal advantage in producing engines with thin cylinders. The dirigiste approach of French government nevetheless continued to encourage manufacturers to build cars with small engines, and French motorists to buy them. The 1958 French fiscal horsepower formula also took account of engine speed, measured in rpm. The government modified the fiscal horsepower formula again in 1978 and in 1998. Understandably French cars are no longer so regularly defined even on their domestic market in terms of their (tax) horse-power. Since 1998 "real" horse-power measured in kW has replaced a notional figure based on cylinder dimensions and an additional value has been added based on carbon-dioxide emissions.

So I suppose this count in Italy too, right? I'm Italian and my GT5 shows Max Power in CV.

CV and cv

In Italian (Cavalli), Spanish (Caballos de vapor), and Portuguese (Cavalo-vapor), CV is the equivalent to the German, PS. It is also used as the French term for the Pferdestärke, but in French, this should be written in lowercase letters as cv.

In addition, the capital form CV is used in Italy and France as a unit for tax horsepower, short for, respectively, cavalli vapore and chevaux vapeur (steam horses). CV is a non-linear rating of a motor vehicle for tax purposes.[10] The CV rating, or fiscal power, is , where P is the maximum power in kilowatts and U is the amount of CO2 emitted in grams per kilometre. The term for CO2 measurements has only been included in the definition since 1998, so older ratings in CV are not directly comparable. The fiscal power has found its way into naming of automobile models, such as the popular Citroën deux-chevaux. The cheval-vapeur (ch) unit should not be confused with the French cheval fiscal (CV).

In the 19th century, the French had their own unit, which they used instead of the CV or horsepower. It was called the poncelet and was abbreviated p.

so no... your not getting more BHP just i highier number due to the reasons above...

the french version of the game writes 905hp not cv...but its the same thing anyhow

Understood, thanks for the explanation Teddy Bear :)
