This morning I won the Nascar series driving a Cadillac Cien, then won the Touring car series driving Jeff Gordons Chevrolet. Does this seem as bizarre to others as it does to me?

Well not with the touring cars because nascar is a type of touring car racing

Tell me (us) where do NASCAR cars share anything with their street equivalent.

Well, they have four wheels, an engine, and a windshield. That should be a start.

Manual gearboxes, unlike most other race cars.

How much do DTM or GT500 cars share with their street models? Same as Nascar.

No, NASCAR with 840 hp can do sub 2:20 laps at Spa, they are real touring cars.

Where did I say that they were touring cars? Both are a kind of LMP2.
And, no, they don't share the same. At least they share the lights.
