Hi I was wondering if any one is a natural drifter this is my lingo so by natural drifter i mean some one that as soon as they started drifting they had a good idea prediction of thier cars and that they could automaticly catch there cars and it dosent matter what car you are driveing you can just drift it.

there is no natural drifter but there is regulars that drift in a different game and experiment

driveanyway =p

Well i normally set up a good base set up at first and sometimes it works, but normally needs tweaking to get it perfect. Some cars purely can't drift, so unless you love the E-Brake, it will never get sideways.

oh and (no offense, just helping) please use puncuation in your post:

run-ons are difficult to read and just look bad.

that is how I started drifting back in '97. (not that I knew what it was called back then ;) )

Had to learn how to drive that '91 NSX in GT1 some how.

Also it was kind-of an off shoot from my learning to save Nascars in NR2 (1996 PC game) from spinning out by standing on the trottle and steering into the slide. Also playing SODA Off Road Racing helped out alot :)

i started off drifting a long time ago ( not really drifting more like powersliding) cause i was ignorant....lol i remember it was in TXRZero....i really thought it would make me win if i drift...hahaha it looked so cool when i was watching my replays with my evo 3 XD...man going sideways was so easy back in the day, all you had to do was brake and turn at the same time while you were going fast :lol:

Eh...I sucked at first, but I knew what I was doing, I was better in Grip Racing at first. I kept practicing and practicing. I just wish I could post vids of me drifting. Meaning I've been here for a while already...

i drift dead stock cars ? that classify? i dont need max hp to drift i meen a std 4 cyl car i can throw round pretty well. but i meen it helps if you've actually driven a car for a comparison

I dont think its so much being a natural at drifting than it is to "understand" the concept of drifting. Like weight shifting/transer, counter-steer and throttle control. When u understand the physics of it, then u can learn faster as in correct under-steer/over-steer. And with practice u get better till ur sliding sideways all day long. :dopey: 👍

not the only game. in most NES and atari racers the cars always got sideways going through turns. Like rad racer for the NES. :)
