46.560 GB! So this came out today (Full game) for free on PS+ (I think!) mine is still downloading:boggled: Is anybody else picking this up for Free or

Gone Home -Is this any good?

I thought I would give it a try I haven't played a basket ball game for a while!

Gave NBA 2K16 a try while it was installing and it's good fun, even though it doesn't say the controls prior to playing. Even after getting the hang of the controls it's still a hard game. Even on the easiest AI they end up beating me really badly. Had to change the audio mix as I didn't want to be listening to the games music the entire time, so switched it to match commentary but there still was very little in-game sound, but that could just be because it was still installing. Still an incredibly fun game, if there's a career mode I can't wait to try it out. Should be very close to being done when I get back to it.
 
How fast is your guys' internet? To download 41GB here in Australia on my connection would take weeks.

Took about 5 hours for my internet to do the 7GB required for the game to start. Left the PS4 in sleep mode all night (11PM-8AM) and it went from 19% to 50%.
 
It took me about an hour for me. I haven't played it yet mostly because I was out. I should be doing it tonight since I managed to do the crew this morning before getting out again.
 
Going to download both, NBA is huge and will affect my bandwidth for the rest of the month (have a 200 GB limit). tried the demo part, not bad but need to practice a lot. Gone home is praised a lot so interested in that.

Will probably wait till I'm done with E3 and see how many GBs I have left before finishing the download of NBA.

So do you have to download it all to hear the ball bounce and stuff as mine without music is in silence and the commentator only when a foul? How do I get the full audio of crowd, ball bounce cheers and stuff? As i can't play in silence or with that (*) rap music:lol:- I have set all the settings to 80%..Graphics are pretty cool I must say and quite realistic.👍
 
2k16 will definitely take a bit of time to adjust to; you'll have to learn your team's plays and where each player makes the most impact, esp on the defensive end. The shooting curve is a bit hard as well learning where a player gets the best release. Don't forget to look up custom sliders to make things a bit easier or harder for you as well; OperationSports has a lot to try.

I've done a couple seasons in MyGM & working through my 3rd season in MyLeague right now.

Mine only had music while at 50% so you must need to wait until it's done completely to get the proper sounds.
 
This is my best match so far on NBA 2K16, although it still hasn't finished installing (about 72%).



The reason for no sound for 3 minutes of the video is this:
 
Played my first proper NBA 2K16 match and only lost by 10 points! I really love the atmosphere of this game.



Since I recorded this I've played 2 matches in the MyCareer mode and won both of them. First one I won by just 1 point and won by 10 points in the second.

I'd really recommend switching camera angles to 2K, it makes the game easier in my opinion, here it is in action if you haven't seen it already

I like the playing it the way it is, and I'm not really finding the game that hard now.

In terms of moving around laterally on defense, I noticed in your video that the computer tends to get around you and makes it to the rim
 
I tried it last night and I don't like NBA,
Not something I would play. Going home looks like an indie title and well I guess I will just stick with some of the other games.
 
Started playing MyGM and am loving it so far. Played 2 matches so far and won the first one by 10 points against the Milwaukee Bucks but lost the second match (I forget the team). Was doing really well in the first half but the other team managed to catch up in the second half and took the lead in the final minute.

I 🤬 hate that stupid 🤬 NBA game! It's gonna end up costing me a controller...again!

EDIT:

Hate it even more! The 🤬 game mechanics make NO 🤬 SENSE!

Been playing the NBA 2K16 PS+ free version. Great game! But anyone know the trick to getting a created player in mycareer to save? Every time I create one and exit the game it it's gone when I boot the game up again?
