I need to import GT2 license but it is on a ps1 memory card and a new ps2 memory card.
My license right now is at I-C international license.
Can anyone tell me how to do this ?

Also I just got this game in the mail GT3 looks very supreme!

You cannot import your GT/GT2 licenses (or cash or cars) into GT3. You have to start with the 18,000 credits and the B-license like everyone else. The game saves are not interchangeable; since GT/GT2 saves can't be written to PS2 memory cards, and GT3 saves cannot be written to PSX cards. So don't throw out your old PSX cards if you want to play GT and GT2 again.

Yes, GT2 allowed you to skip the first two licenses if you had a GT (or known as GT1) game save with all three licenses completed. And GT4 allows you to do the same with your saved GT3 licenses. But GT3 does not have this feature, as I recall. So it's good practice for the new physics model.

If you have about 2-3 hours (and maybe some searching around in the GT3 sections), try to win your first car by getting all-golds in the B-license. This way you keep the 18K and get a prize car as well; it's not easy, but even I could do it.

Welcome to GTPlanet, and enjoy your stay.

Welcome here. As Pupik said, you can go for as many gold licenses as possible early on to win extra money, but if you can't gold much it don't matter since the Beginner's League is actually very easy.

Some hints: make sure to turn off all driver's aids! Turn off the ASM...turn off the TCS. This will actually make your car handle with more flexibility and not "slow down" or understeer so much in corners. If you can't get a handle on making your car not have so much wheelspin, try just using a TCS setting of "1". But if you're like me (and have some experience) just turn off all that crap. :ouch:

Another hint: use all analog controls, but if you're in the habit of using buttons (X for gas and [] for brakes), this is okay because the buttons in GT3 are touch-sensitive, which means you can vary how much gas or brakes you give by pressing each button hard or soft.

Yet another hint: Take advantage of the qualifying sessions in each race. These are offered in real-time in GT3...so if you're a half-second faster than the Ai during qualifying, chances are you'll be slightly faster than them in the race. But if you're 2 seconds faster than the Ai during qualifying, chances are you'll find yourself slaughtering them in the actual race. This is unlike GT4, in which the Ai often drives softer during qualifying, yet harder during the race itself. :)

Oh, and never sell the prize cars you win, you cannot get some of them back once they're sold. All three-race series and Like The Wind; any point-based championships allow you to re-win certain cars.

Just a little advice.

Thanks Pupik for the advice, I see your from florida ? I was born in Miami in 1980 and am spending most of my young life in Augusta which I hate....

Anway I just masterd the B license within a hour I am on the A license now and I have about 3 more tests to take the master this exam.

How do I shut off my annoying ghost in the exams ? it is causing me to have problems where I can't focus on the damn road....
I understand it helps me to pass on one of the test I am having problems with but not do to a point where I am crashing my car into a side wall and actually failing the test.

Don't you just hate that ghost car ? The select button should do the trick 💡
