I need to get a computer monitor, but it has to have game console connections. I don't know what that would be called, and thus don't know how to search for it. I would like something in the 21 to 30 inch range, with pretty good quality (LCD perhaps?)

Thank you, and forgive me if this was a dumb question. :)

Console connections? What console? Some connections from newest technology to oldest: HDMI, Component, S-Video, Composit, Coaxial.

I left out DVI as I haven't seen a console with DVI outputs yet.

You mean like a VGA cable?

For consoles like the X360?

I have a Hewlett-Packard 21" that has 2 VGA outlets.

The console would be PS2/3 and XBOX/360. Sorry for the vague details. :dunce:

If you want bigger than 20.1 inches, the Dell 2407FPW is a 24" widescreen. DVI, VGA, Svideo, Composite, and Component connections, picture in picture, 6ms response time. Only downside is that it's $700. Alternativly, you could opt for the 2405FPW. It's the same size as the 2407 and only around $5-600 now. The only downside to that one though is the 12ms response time.

It depends on what kind of games. Slower paced games you won't notice it much if at all. Faster paced games (basically anything not RTS really) you will probably notice it. It may bother you, and it may not.

Speaking of the Dell 2407FPW, I just ordered one! :D
