So, off the back of some 3D work I did in my own time for work my boss has offered to buy me a computer designed to do this kind of thing (rather than my £300 basic HP desktop).. its not only as a reward, but also to make it easier to do this kind of project again.
The budget is £1000 and I'd like to get a machine that can handle quite large wireframe models, and not take all night to render an image once I've added a little radiance, reflectance etc. here and there.
I need some recommendations.
