Hello,

Can anyone assist me tuning a Honda Intrega Type R DC5 '04 for Online racing on Trial Mountain Circuit? No RM is allowed

Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: On
Grip Reduction: Real
Slipstream Strength: Weak

Racing Tyres (depends on the wear, 14 laps in total)

I've found a very good pariano's tune but it is for 500PP and sport tyres.

Any assistance is welcome!

Post your current tune and tell us what its doing or not doing. Also, what restrictions other than tires? PP? HP? Full tune? That would be the easiest and most efficient way for us to help. 👍

Sorry guys, forgot that detail, the car has to be restricted to 400 PP.

Eveything else is free.

Im using this tune

But it is for 500PP can any one make some adaptions to make it 400PP with RS or RH? (depends on tire wear and lap)

Thanks!!
Hi, my tune is one of my very few offline tune i did for a shootout ,can't be used online the way it is, very bad.
I think you will not find any tune for 400PP and racing tires. Nobody race like this , too much grip for a few power.
You have a wienish tune race soft tires.https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=4534551#post4534551

Good luck with your search.

Ah, I remember that tune now...good times, good times. :dopey:

He's right about the tires though. At 400PP most cars will do well on C3s or S1s. If the tires are part of your league/room so be it. For a lot of tunes you'll probably need to tweak out a lot of understeer. I am horrid at FFs but I've used RKM's tune for the Integra with some success. Dunno how it will do online with race tires but give it a shot and let us know what you find. If it is close to what you're looking for we can try to help tweak it based on some feedback. 👍

Edit: CSLACR's tunes I find to be slightly looser than some other folks. That may help with adding the race tires but I haven't tried it.

Run harder tires on the back to get it to rotate. Old trick but it works.

You need a tune for 400PP on RS tires? That should be nearly wide open on every corner of every track...lol. The Integra is the best handling FF in the game. Just raise and stiffen the front, lower and soften the back, throw some negative toe on front and back and it should handle like a dream and go like stink. Should be unbeatable at 400 PP.

thanks everyone for the tips, i think this tune is the best one for my driving style

Detuned to 400PP (including oil change and RS), i managed to make 1.34.492 "smooth" tomorrow i will test online though...

note that im using a Logitech G27

Can anyone help me tune it for online with RS?
Make it stiffer, raise the lsd.
Both are an "always" for upgrading tires, unless they weren't right to begin with.

I have no idea what values to change on it for
That :(
According to CSLACR you can change following:
Red=edited by dr_slump

Online Tune
RH -15/-15
Springs 7.0/9.5 - raise it, e.g 8.0/10.5
Dampers ext 5/7
Dampers comp 3/5
ARB 3/5 - raise it, e.g 4/5
Camber 2.5/2.0
Toe -0.15/-0.15
LSD 7/10/5 - probably only accel -> e.g 7/30/5
Brake 4/7
Balast 0
Power Level 94.2%
You might also want to adjust dampers so that they fit the new spring rates. Perhaps CSL also means with making it stiffer that you have to adjust RH (lower if).
I wouln't tune my car like this and I didn't test this tune. I just want to show what he meant.

Yes.
I'm quite surprised to hear someone would not stiffen their ride when they increase grip though. Extra grip = extra leaning = sloppy handling if you don't tidy it up.
Any LSD that makes both wheels go red at the same time + increased grip = spinning the inside wheel more than outside wheel unless you raise the LSD.

Unless your suspension is already too stiff, and LSD too tight, these should be a must.

Now, I'm not too sure if this is related to me or timo.

If me: I meant that I wouldn't tune the car like MCH did. I see the sense of stiffening the car and raising the diff though.

Ah, I see. I thought you were saying not to stiffen the car. :D
