Need For Speed Series

TNFS: read below
NFS 2 SE: It was need for speed 2 that got me into cars oh so many years ago, I went out the next week and bought The Need For Speed. I loved the tracks in NFS 2 - espcially the european one and the mexico and the greek one and the 'death mountain'
NFS 3 HP: When Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit came out I was one of the First to have it.
NFS 4 HS Same with Need For Speed IV: High Stakes. I loved NFSHS, I downloaded hundreds of other cars for it.
NFS 5 PU Need for speed V Porsche Unleashed was a let down, because It only had porsches.
NFS MC I never got motor city, but the whole online thing sounded pretty sweet
NFS HP 2 Need for speed Hot Pursuit 2 For the PS2 got new people into the NFS scence, but they had no concept of how great the need for speed, or NFSII or NFSIV were, and the awesome tracks were gone.
NFS UG Need For Speed Underground 1 and 2 killed the series.

Before Underground, The need for speeds had focused on nice cars - mclarens, lotus, ferrari. Now they switched to civics (hey, i drive one) and neons and the newest ricer car - the skyline-. NFSU is a disgrace to the need for speed series and the skyline. I HATE THE GAME :yuck: .

This series got me into cars which is my no 1 passion now (yeah I'm single :indiff: ) and it's gone down the tubes now.

Please EA give us another real Need for Speed.

Anyways, what do y'all think of the NFS's. For those of you who play NFS UG, have you even played the older ones - not the best graphics, but they are great games. Anyone else like the old NFS's?
 
I realize some of these games weren't for the PS2, but the newer ones are - and that's what most of y'all would be playing I guess.

I loved HP2. My friend does still has it. We had alots of fun wiht the 2 player mode :) I loved it.
But again....talking about NFS:U series, it was the end of the series, there wasn't that old and cool exotic cars anymore, just a bunch of rice :yuck: 👎 Even if I bought NFS:U, it wasn't worth it.
 
The best was the first one. The Road and Track edition NFS: SE. It had the best cars, with badass interiors. I played all of the NFS's, Underground seires was a let down, but i kinda likes UNDERGOUND 2 car sounds, nice......
