I play Need For Speed Unbound on PC, but I've heard rumors about the latest update that it can corrupt your saves.
I've only played multiplayer and would like to start the career, so I'm wondering if playing the career will corrupt your saves?

Yes and No. Grindy in SP so many hours to play but on the other hand the DLC stuff is mostly MP only with the big issue SP and MP are completely seperated.

Got a question regarding the gift cars.

Got the game free from the monthly games and been playing it on and off a bit.

The game displays speed pass on singleplayer and has unlocked things from there, including the R34 unmarked cop car.

Question is: where can I find it?

It is not in my garage in single player, nor is it in my online garage.

Do I need to progress on the online cop career to get the car or what?

Yes, the cop cars have their own game mode and progression in online only. You can not use them in SP at all unless you use mods. You should be able to use the unlocked cop car in that specific game mode, but the name of it escapes me at the moment.
