Hello all, I'm thinking about buying an Xbox 360 tomorrow, but I have a couple of questions.

1. I know there are rumors of a new Xbox coming out soon so I don't want to spend too much on a new system. I really like my PS3 and I only want a 360 for the upcoming Forza Horizon. If I buy one it will be a refurbished one from Gamestop. I don't play online because my home internet is too slow so Wifi isn't a big deal for me. Also, I know I can buy a 120GB hard drive for $50 so disk space shouldn't be a problem.

Am I looking at this correctly? Will the Xbox 360 that I picked work well or is it outdated? Is that HD compatible with the 360 I chose?

2. I have a really old wheel that I've used in GT5, but I'm not sure if it's supported by Forza 4 or Horizon. It's the Logitech Driving Force Pro. Has anyone tested this wheel with Forza or is there an adapter I can purchase?

1. I'm not sure about that, but I don't think the new Xbox is coming out THAT soon. That is relative though, for some one year is soon, for some that is a lifetime. But If you're buying a used console, you aren't paying that much anyhow, so it's not a big investment even though the new console came out tomorrow. You'd still have tons of great games to play, and you'd get them very cheap. Just don't buy the first gen consoles, I have two of them and they keep RRODing all the time because I haven't had them properly fixed. I just do a "quick fix" every now and then.

From what I know, the newer "slim" consoles, the Black ones that look a bit different than the old ones, are more reliable. You can't use the old hard drives with them though, am I right?

2. Logitech Wheels don't work with Xbox360, since Microsoft uses their own USB system. You can only use multi-platform Fanatecs, like PWTS, GT2, CSR, CSR Elite, or the Microsoft wheels or stuff like that.

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks for the reply. I ended up going with a slim model bundled with Forza 4 and it's been awesome. Thanks again for the help.
